I'm glad someone else has been exposed to Joe Hisaishi/Studio Ghibli's work. Joe Hisaishi is one of my favorite composers, and I love all of Studio Ghibli's films. I just bought a collection of 18 movies by Hayao Miyazaki, actually.

I bought 3 albums recently, Kid A by Radiohead, Rings Around the World by Super Furry Animals and Icky Thump by The White Stripes. All 3 are quality albums. Super Furry Animals especially are almost like the Pink Floyd of the 90s/noughties, I highly reccomend giving them a listen.

Buy the new The National album, High Violet. They're a fantastic band from New York...a little like Coldplay...except darker and with Johnny Cash as the lead singer. At any rate, it's one of the best albums of the year.

Finally decided to use an Itunes card I had since Christmas. Saw they were increasing the price of some their music, which I didn't like. Some goodies I grabbed off there:
Even though I mostly listen to country music, I like some good VG music too. Some composer called Beat Shifter did this song. It's called "The Information Chase".
