Topic: A Introduction to Touhou, it’s a video game darn it!

Touhou is an extremely popular series in Japan, shooting games of the "bullet hell" or "curtain fire" variety, also known as "danmaku," Created by the one and only ZUN, the Touhou game series entails an ongoing story of events set in Gensokyo, revolving mostly around incidents regarding the main characters, Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame. The series is best-known for its crazy Fans, its story, and its extreme difficulty.

You can’t really put everything that Touhou has to offer due to the fact that Touhou seems to have endless amount of things to offer thanks to the fans.
There are so many fan made animated videos, art, even making a few Episodes in the anime style, and not just one series but a few made my different groups. There is also many Fan made games ranging from Shooters to platformers to RPG’s and there are plenty of cross over games. There are also a lot of Remixes of the songs even having famous composers making some of them or music companies like East New Sound.

There are many powerful beings in the game such as Vampire, Oni, Gods, Kappa, but the most common are the Youkai and the Fairys. Regarding the power levels they are way up there, a Oni who can be everywhere at once, a Youkai that can have plants bloom anywhere and any type able to change how big they get to any extent, a God that is able to create earth anywhere, a Ghost that can kill you instantly, a Human that can Control space and time, a Vampire that can control all of fate and her sister who can destroy anything and everything, there are also a few complete immortals, and then there is Yukari…….

But fear not! Due to a incident caused by a vampire that caused a lot of damage the Spell card rules were made.

• With every spell between youkai, there is the slight fear of Gensokyo's decay.
• However, if it is not used, a youkai's power will gradually vanish.
• Therefore, I propose the following contract for spell card use.

Concepts

• That youkai can easily cause disasters.
• That humans can easily resolve disasters.
• That use of one's full abilities is to be denied.
  That there are no things superior to beauty and thought.

Law

• Each spell shall be given a beautiful and meaningful name.
• The number of named spells to be used shall be announced beforehand.
• Attacks relying on physical strength are not to be repeated.
• Do not attack without reason.
• Reason becomes its own power.
• If all your named spells are defeated, you are defeated, regardless of your remaining strength.
• If victorious against a human, you may not kill them.
• The name of the spell shall be recorded on paper in the same form as this contract.
• As a result, all of the aforementioned regulations become absolute.
• This paper will be called the "spell card".
• A concrete method of casting may be discussed later with the shrine maiden.

I'm a big fan of Bullethell shooters so I love Touhou but holy damn. Hahaa, that's a quite the lengthy introduction.

This reminds me of that one house in pokemon r/s/e where everyone talked only about X currently trendy thing and everything in the house referenced it in some way, my favorite was the book shelf.

Genuine thanks to the OP, I'd been looking for a way to get touhou games for a long time, but wasn't sure on how trustworthy the sites I kept coming across were.

Also just putting this out there, for anyone not sure about how a bullet hell game looks and plays, here's a free browser one. If you get addicted, it wasn't my fault /leaves

lol, Remilia and Flandre are vampire sisters that first appeared in Touhou 06. Remilia is the older and can control all of Fate, and Flandre has the Power to destroy anything and everything.
