Probably the best news I've heard ever. 6 yr. old kid reported floating around inside a flying saucer like balloon in Colorado. Reportedly he went inside the craft while his parents were not keeping an eye out and he floated off into the air and had been up there for 2 hours until finally landing. Once landed, the balloon was cut open to find...nothing. The kid reportedly inside the balloon was not there, so it is spectated whether or not he fell out of the balloon and being killed (or falling only a short distance and surviving) or the whole thing being a hoax.
Did anyone see this on the news this afternoon. Kinda scary if you ask me. Any thoughts or speculations? Just thought this would be something worth talking about for fun.
This was the craziest news ever, I read it on Yahoo. It sounds funny, but the part about the boy being missing is a bit scary considering he must've either fallen out or jumped out. He's only 6, and apparently the balloon was home-made -- I believe his parents had made it.

Media people take things more seriously than they're supposed to be taken. But, seeing as the young six-year old chap is missing, I can kinda guess why there would be an uproar.
It's not funny at all. By best news, besides whether the kid was OK or not, I though it was interesting just in general. The balloons shape was mysterious, it's physics were fascinating, having after almost touching the ground a few times then going back up, and this is something nobody's ever seen before. And also by fun to talk about, I meant by comparing ideas, whether we think it's a hoax or what ever happened to this kid? But no this could end up leaving us sad or angered. I don't think this is to make anyone happy or to laugh at at all for those who thought I may have sounded a bit light-hearted and careless in this situation
I don't see how he could have got out of the bottom part thing. It wasn't open, the underside wasn't broken, and the sides weren't torn. I think it's more likely the kid set it free, realised he was in big trouble, and took off running.

According to this story there was a box attached to the balloon that the kid climbed into, when they found the balloon the box was missing. I hope the kid is Ok.
