How big and smelly are your poos since adopting the carnivore diet? Are they bigger? Smellier? Are they shaped differently?
Have you ever had a poo shaped like an animal you've eaten, or perhaps shaped like a plant or animal that the animal you've eaten has eaten?
Thats a really good question. They come out like cat poop. Much smaller than they used to. Id say the volume of poop is around 10-20% of what it used to be when i was vegan. They come out clean every time. I wipe purely to just check and its always clean.
They also come out cometely scentless. There is also less gas, I’ll probably pass gas once a week at the most and it is also scentless.
@sarethums
What is your favorite pork, beef, sheep, deer or something else? And yes i've done this diet and lost 15 pounds in one month but my cholesterol went through the ruff.
EDIT: My doctor also told me it's unhealthy but yes you will lose wait. She also told me the body needs carbs. But as always you should consult your DOCTOR.
Yes i have consulted my gp. I am a personal trainer and have several doctor friends who i run my regular blood results by. That is one of the reasons i have continued to do so. My testosterone levels have doubled and everything is in check. Cholesterol is high but the ratios are good between ldl and hdl plus the ratio between total serum cholesterol and triglycerides is amazing.
So far yes. I have blood results and fitness tests to confirm this.
@CurryPowderKeg79 I think he’s already visited a medical professional if he has data from blood tests.
Yes I have regular health and fitness tests and everything is great. I only planned to do this for 1 months but when my values all improved I decoded to go longer. If/when they decline then ill come off.
@sarethums : Interesting. I've only had two clean poops in 2018. My diet is fairly carb and meat heavy though, and my metabolism is ridiculous. I'm hovering at about 58kg and can never gain mass. I do yearn for cleaner poos though. I spend way too much time in the bathroom, perhaps owing to the fact that my metabolism is so fast that the poos haven't had time to solidfy. That is merely my hypothesis though, and I could very well be wrong on that one.

This is a genuine thing that people dont talk about enough.
Metabolism is the other way around. If you are only 58kg and everything is going through you then it means you have a slow metabolism. You are not metabolising as much. Loose messt stools are an indicator of something not being on point. I dont want to recommend the carnivore diet to you as i dont like to push an agenda (im on this for research purposes anyway) but it is something you could try as a protocol and then start reintroducing foods and build your diet that way.
I believe loose stools to be a symptom of an underlying issue and if you dont fix the cause then it may be a problem further down the line.
Do you listen to neat beats while you eat your meats?
I dont, the music you listen to while eating can have a huge effect. Youtube music choices for restaurants. Th human brain adjusts its biting strength based on what it hears in the mouth, crunchy, slurpy etc and music can affect this.
Question.
Why do you need Carnivore diet for 4 months ?
Vegetables are still yummy...
I planned to run it for only 1 but the results were so good. I plan now to run it for 6 months. There are so many benefits to not eating fruit and veg as odd as that seems. Of course there are benefits to eating it also.
I live in glasgow and is during the winter, there are no bugs here. Id need such a huge amount. There re now less bugs in the uk than there used to be due to damaging effect on the environment that vegan farming has.
I am a personal trainer and a hold nutrition seminars at my gym. I first stumbled upon this as a diet for those with gastrointestinal problems and autoimmune issues such as my mum and sister. I researched it for a few weeks before deciding to try it myself. For me it improved digestion, fixed my testosterone levels, gave me better energy, means i only need to eat 2-3 meals per day instead of 8 plus loads of others, no gas, bloating and clean poops.
What are some good kinds of meat that most people don't eat because they're "too weird"?
Organ meats; liver, kidney, heart and others such as tongue. I dont eat these myself as they are hard to get hold of, i do try liver now and then, its weird how good it tastes.
