WHY o WHY do these VC & Ware games for the 3DS not make sense, i mean eg Avenging Spirit is $2.90 = £2.60, Donkey Kong $3.99 = £3.60 which as of today equates using a 1.63 conversion rate to £2.43 and its been at least 1.5 for well over a year SO how do these prices make sense as the conversion rate needed to make THESE prices up are just plain RIDICULOUS.
I think Nintendo would like prices to be similar so they did not use an exchange rate.
More like Nintendo would like to screw the UK while the USA moan about their apparent high pricing. It's always been this way. If 3DS cost $40 in the US us in the UK should be getting games at £25 but instead most retailers price them at £35-£40. Same with the 3DS launch, if USA had it for $250 we should have had it for £152 yet we end up getting it at £230. It does really annoy me when people in the US moan about their prices, we always get screwed worse!
I haven't even once complained about prices that Nintendo has set. I can spend a lot of money when it comes to Nintendo as they have so much things I like
It's its, not it's.

Mate i cant tell you how much this *^?" offends me, it is quite literally DAYLIGHT ROBBERY and apart from the A++ titles that will come out i'll not buy anything else as its not worth it for the prices thay want to charge the UK. Question for me now Is there a way to purchase games from the USA eshop on my 3DS to get these much improved prices.

And yet in Australia we pay much more.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

If you want to get games a little bit cheaper change your region to somewhere in Europe. It only saves a little bit if you do the conversions, but if you're buying a lot of games that can add up to saving quite a bit.
No retailers are involved as the thread is about the prices for the VC & Ware games for the 3DS, However im interested to know what are the prices of certain games in Australia for comparison then, and where would be the best place to buy an American points card for the 3DS ? as i think i'll go down that route if it works,
@XyVoX: you realize you'd need to have a North American 3DS in order to use a NA points card, right? you can't just change an EU 3DS to the American region, same as you can't with a DSi or a Wii. if i'm not mistaken, AUS 3DS owners can change their region to EU (and vice versa, but who would want to — no offense, aussies) because EU and AUS have both been kinda lumped together since time began in terms of video gaming, but that's it.

I don't think you can set the region to the US on an Australian 3DS. Only other PAL regions.
No i dont realize how the region changes work in all honesty, if so i'll be on the lookout for the cheapest region in Europe then to get my games from.
