Topic: 3D Hero for PS3 too similar to Zelda? Ign article and video.

I thought at first, IGN is just over exgarrateing that fact. But after watching the video, you will see strong similar things to zelda a link to the past and the original. Heh, not stopping me from getting it though (when i get a PS3)

I'm actually happy to see that it's like Zelda. It improves upon the concept and turns itself into something original.

Well, Okami was said to be similar to TP, and it came out good (from what i heard) so i have hi hopes for this game. Looks just as fun ALttP!

I think it was obvious it was influenced by Zelda since the first Screen-Shots which were over a year ago I believe.

I'm pretty excited for 3D Dot Heroes.
It may have heavy influence but then again its still better than all the war games we are getting now days.

I'm very excited about the game myself. I could care less if it copies Zelda. What better game to copy, anyway.

Hell, if Nintendo won't do another Link to the Past-like Zelda game, at least Sony will. LOL.

the first screen shot i saw was the blue knight guy fighting a dragon. Didnt look Zelda to me.

How can something be too similar to Zelda? That's an illogical statement. The real question is if it's similar enough.

I`m not mad about this one bit. I don`t care if someone makes a near identical copy of zelda game, it`s still not gonna top the original.

Yeah but you see, Okami and Alundra already did top the original. Along with many other games. Although Twilight Princess is a special case which tried to copy Okami and failed at doing so.

Ah Alundra. I need to run through that one again. Tough as nails, but oh so much fun!

This game is by From Software. I don't care what it copies, it's gonna be awesome!

I meant the original game, meaning any zelda game. Not the first zelda game. I may just be biased, I dunno.
