You know, if I was more of a Nintendo fan I would run a discussion and poll to make a list of the NL community's top 20 historically-important games on Nintendo consoles. 20 seems like a nice number and limiting the selection to Nintendo consoles would make the list more meaningful. Unfortunately I missed out on every console between the NES and the Wii, so I'm not qualified. Still I'd be interested to see what the community turns up.

I'll play what I want to play, and not be influenced by a crappy list some dude made (which I can't believe you typed out, btw). Everybodies opinions and preferences are different, so how can anyone know which games I must play. This is silly.

Not half bad. Also this list is proof that I really need to get a good computer so I can play more PC games.
The fact that Spyro the Dragon, Medievil, Crash Bandicoot, Bonk, Legendary Axe, Pokemon, and Donkey Kong Country were excluded....and that only 3 Sonic games made it on the list (Sonic 1, 2, and Adventure)... and that no Turbografx games or import games made it on the list... I'm going to conclude that it's not a great list.
I played 95 games from that list. I don't necessarily own them all, though. :3 but seriously though, why aren't Pokemon Gold/Silver/HeartGold/SoulSilver on the list instead of P/D? and DKC3 instead of DKC1? O_o
Just out of curiosity, what is it that Breath of Fire II: The Fated Child has that Breath of Fire: The Dragon Warrior doesn't? I'm not saying the second game in the series is bad, I just have more fondness for the first one is all (albeit in Game Boy Advance format).
