Topic: Website slow...

Is it just me or is NintendoLife randomly lagging when browsing around (think its mainly with the forums), like it'll take a long time to get to a page...or sometimes I just can't click anything at all and have to leave the site and come back.

@Xiao_Pai hey, yeah, I'm aware of this issue, it will happen around the same time each day as the backups are taken from the server - we're going to be making some changes soon that should prevent the slow down, so watch this space!

We've moved back over to the main database server now so things should be quite a bit faster

Yeah, looks like its running a lot better now.

I was wondering about this since it would always happen whenever I was posting a long post at night. I figured the internet was too tired to read. Good to know things will be smoother now.
