Posted: Thu 4th Mar 2010 21:54 GMT @koopa_troopa: topics wind up locked for a variety of reasons (controversial topic that's blown up before, argument broke out ending in unsalvageable derailment, thread had served its purpose, duplicate thread, etc.), but none would be locked because of a swear word alone. if someone curses in a post, all a moderator has to do is edit the cursing out, no big deal. it's the fact that this process could be automated that appeals to me personally; it's less work for us so we can focus on bigger problems that arise every so often. :3
