Topic: Super Mario Galaxy Ideas

Hello-

I have an idea for Super Mario Galaxy 3 for the prankster comets. In SMG2 the prankster comets aren't that creative, no offense. In SMG1 the prankster comets were very creative, my favorite prankster comet is the fast foe comet, but there are only two in the game. I know why there are only two in the game - because there are giant enemies (the rolling rocks). My idea for SMG3 is four fast foe comets, 5 cosmic comets, 6 daredevil comets, 7 speedy comets, and 25 purple comets. But wait, I have another idea for three other comets in the game. I made up a comet I want you to use, this will happen only three times in the game in three galaxies - a triple comet. This is a black comet that will dim the screen black (by the way dimming the screen from the comets is a very good and creative idea). The triple comet makes it so that all the enemies need three times the hits to defeat. For an example, a one hit enemy will need three hits to defeat, or a three hit enemy will need nine hits.

So I hope my idea is incorporated into SMG3.

Hmmm ...
Something seems wrong about calling SMG2's prankster comets "not that creative" and than come up with two ideas that would feel like a total gimmick...
But keep up thinking ! :)

omg no offense, but that triple comet sounds like a giant pain in the butt, especially if bosses are involved. do not want D: D: D:

I agree and while SMG and its sequel were two of the best games ever, I would rather nintendo were more original with the next proper 3D Mario platformer as the one coming to 3DS doesn't look like a proper 3D Mario platformer.

Its not a proper Mario 3D platformer as its merging elements from the 3D Mario platformers with the 2D ones. You're just going through levels to get to the exit as there isn't a variety of objectives like in other 3D Mario platformers, the health system is like in the 2D Mario platformers when I think they should still have a health bar like in the other ones and theres no hub. SMG2 barely had one but its better than nothing.

I would be oh-so much more excited for SM3D if there weren't a timer. X( A lot of people say the Galaxy formula is stale but a portable game in that series would be SO fun.
