Topic: Suggestion for site : write 3rd partry wiiware instruction manuals.

It has come to my attention that us digital downloaders resent the lack of true game manuals. Lack of physical media is bad enough, but this is correctable. So I propse :

3rd party Nintendo Life Wiiware game covers and instruction books - for download, print at home. Charge a nominal fee, I dunno two dollars, official art work, game description, control description, credits, etc.

Game covers should be very snazzy and bright, to fit a standard size DVD case, like an empty coffin, with wiiware, develpoer, and Nintendo logos and game art.

Just change the spelling

Nintenda Weeware

I don't get it. Don't they have an Operations Manual on the home menu?

Nintendo Network ID: MetalMario64

You actually think people would pay for that? Delusional doesn't even begin to cover it...

Good grief.

I was kidding about the spelling thing, I doubt Nintendo would care about copy rights for didgital game manuals....

Believe me there is a big market for this.

Then go start a site and type all the manuals up. Let us know when you're done.

Damn you are never satisfied. Most games show you how to play and have button configurations you can look at. I have 11 WiiWare games and 29 VC games they are not that difficult to figure out.

I would prefer printable manuals too. I love reading game manuals while lying on my bed. But would I pay for it? No. I've payed already for the game manual which is included with the WiiWare game.

But if you make a site like Replacementdocs for WiiWare games and it's free then I'll sure come and visit.

I can see it now... Nintendo WiiPrint USB color inkjet printer for the Nintendo Wii. Now you can print your VC and WiiWare manuals on dead trees rather than reading them off your TV screen!

Put your analyst on danger money, baby.

Thank you Omega......you are a life saver

Corbie - looks like a no go on the fee thing though...

One fun thing about gaming is DISPLAYI:NG your collection, organising your games, putting all the WIi-series together, etc. DD takes that all away - having ghost cases and instruction manuals gives us a tangable, physical connection to some of our favorite wii games.

Corbie - if I do a mock up - is there some way I can get it to display here if I email the site the original document? Just for feed back? We can talk about compensation later, after it takes off, perhaps free wii points or some such.

I just remembered where I read game-manuals the most... on the toilet. Obviously I can't take my Wii to the bathroom so as to read WiiWare manuals (or could I, hmmm). I've been missing out this whole time and I didn't even know it, ah shucks.

^ Haha. Do you carry on reading once you've done the business?

@Omega: Totally. Not that any of you wanted to know that.
