This is something that's been bugging me for a while. We need a rumour/speculation section, separate from the news section of the forums (that should be official news only). It just seems silly to have official news and rumours in the same section, as people can get confused.
It may be a stupid idea, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway

It's a good idea, yes, to help separate out the actual news from the rumours, but would it just encourage people to post wild rumours and speculation? If there was a dedicated forum...
I think that rumours posted in other threads could just be moved, or locked. Thanks @antdickens for considering the idea though, even if it doesn't come true
On the subject of wild rumours, that could just be left alone, with people deciding if it's true or not.
Joking aside, this is a good idea. Now, if a separete section does not work, perhaps we could adjust the suggestion and have a rule about always wirting (RUMOUR) in the thread title. That way we could avoid the potential confuson @Inkling talks about.
