Topic: Posting images to threads?!?!??

When i create a new thread i cant upload an image to my thread. i have to post a link from the web. (i have to host it on the web from picresize.com) . On 3dsforums.com you can upload images to threads. why can't i do it here?

Try uploading it to a nice file-hosting site like ImageShack or PhotoBucket (unless it's already on the internets, simply copy the url), then simply paste the url here in between [img] tags, like this:

[img]http://www.thisisanimage.com[/img]

@123akis the simple answer is that we would rather not host porn and/or random cute kitty images on our site, there are plenty of free places around to do that, and you can link to those from here...

He was explaining that NLife doesn't want any people uploading cute kitty images on their site, not just pertaining to you. ImageShack Is really easy to use, and it's what I use to upload images. Try it :3

Why can you do it on another forum and not here? because we're not that forum. sorry to disappoint! However, there are plenty of free image-hosting sites available on the internet (ImageShack and Photobucket are quite popular in my experience) for whatever images you'd like to post here at NL, and when you're ready, the code goes thusly:

[img=http://www.imagehostingsite.com/image.jpg]

or, if the image you're wanting to show off is quite large, we ask that you link to the URL instead of embedding it into your post:

[url=http://www.imagehostingsite.com/image.jpg]here's my image![/url]
