That's the video in question. The Trump comment was uncalled for. Doesn't matter if you like or hate the man, politics has no place in NintendoLife videos. We come here to see Alex's great videos. Not see Alex take political potshots.

Alex needs to keep up his great work with his videos, just please keep the politics out of his NintendoLife videos.

Thank you.

I've already watched this last night and have no idea what you're talking about (though I vaguely recall a quip about Trump that would have been fairly innocuous), so a quote or timecode of said remark would help in whatever case you are peddling. I'm all for freedom of educated opinions, but when people abuse their right to open their mouthes by saying stupid and ignorant things that damage and impede on the rights of others, then there is a problem that needs to be addressed and criticised. I don't get why you feel so strongly (as an Australian) that you felt compelled to defend the honour of one who lacks that very quality.

And criticism of unabashed stupidity is not "politics", I don't care what anybody says (and the video as a whole is a critique of unabashed stupidity).

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

I am all for freedom of speech. Done properly and at the right time. Freedom of speech is an important right everyone has. Alex should use it in a good way and choose a better platform for political pot shots. One where his political views will be taken more seriously.

Freedom of speech exists whether you think the opinion is educated or not. Everyone is allowed to speak their mind. However this does not prevent said speech being held to account. I am holding Alex to account to what he said.

Alex can say wherever he likes in his videos. Because freedom of speech. However the comment does nothing positive for the video. It just is something out of place and detrimental to videos on gaming subjects.

My original post here I stick by. Alex can say whatever he likes but I am strongly asking him to choose less political speech in his videos. It would actually improve the video. There would be no sour point for people to gripe on.

You think I am defending Trump (a man you think lacks honour as you said above). You would be wrong on two points. This is not about what you or I or anyone thinks of trump. Secondly this is about keeping the videos abhor Nintendo and not going off topic like Alex did in that comment in the video.

I am not defending Trump as you claimed. I am simply asking for political comments, for or against anyone to be said in a better place (outside NintendoLife videos) unless it has a direct relation to Nintendo. This comment did not.

I am aware this video was making fun at the bad reviews. Just best time stick to the reviews. Going off topic does nothing to help the quality of his videos.

Lastly, glad you remembered I am Australian. That just shows how few away I am form US politics. I am not stakeholder as I am not a US citizen. I just heard Alex make a political remark in a video and thought

"what the? Alex ol chap you know better than to add in off topic comments about foreign leaders."

Alex is not even from the US either.

I think I have made my point clear. Please keep making the amazing videos. (I do like them). Just choose a better forum or platform for political comments. If he chooses not to (his right as well) his videos will be worse for it.
