Topic: Please add Waku Waku 7 to the Virtual Console Coming Soon List!

I'm not sure how you missed this, but Waku Waku 7 (Neo Geo) was added to the Japanese Wii Virtual Console at the end of April 2010 (proof below).

SO shouldn't it be on the "Coming Soon" VC list? (other games on that list have only been released in Japan so far, like Windjammers)

Just because it got released in japan doesn't mean it's coming over here. Japan has more than 100 titles exclusive to their region

We don't add Virtual Console games to our "coming soon" list until they're confirmed somehow, usually by way of a rating from the ESRB, OFLC, PEGI or USK, or sometimes in an announcement from the company itself. You're quite right in that other Japanese-only games have made the list without these ratings, and I'll be honest and say I don't know why this is. I'll see if we can get a better system for holding Japanese VC titles.

Hmm OK I did not know that.

BTW, Waku Waku 7 did have a USA MVS (Arcade Release). But yeah, for AES (home console) it was a Japan only game.

Especially because of all the lovely imports from Japan we've gotten for the USA / EUR Virtual Console that never originally came out in the USA or Europe. (Hopefully Waku will be added to them :)
