/me reckons Ant knows the feature that should be installed next...
also, for longtimegamer and anyone else who has never done the '/me' thing, here's how it works in IRC (and some other chats, like WoW and stuff):
NL chat wrote:
[10:29] Objection_Blaster: /me gives you a certificate of Spot On-ing[10:30] theblackdragon: hahaha[10:30] theblackdragon: /me gives O_B a certificate of mastering the '/me' command
whereas if the '/me' thing were enabled, it would look like this:
[10:29] Objection_Blaster gives you a certificate of Spot On-ing[10:30] theblackdragon: hahaha[10:30] theblackdragon gives O_B a certificate of mastering the '/me' command
it only works if '/me' is the first part of your sentence :3

The times given may be wrong(or could just be my PC) I presume its UK time but my PC is showing a different time to what the chat area shows, a half hour difference.
Warning: comments from this user may contain typos, half truths, down right lies, sillyness, sarcasm, missing the pointedness, madey up-edness, left wing propaganda, failed links, kissing up and pics of cute kitties

If you type a smiley at the beginning of a message, it won't format correctly.

Please add rooms and a userlist (it can just be names to know who's on but NL avatars would be nice.) Keep up the great work, Ant!

We've actually been toying with the idea of a chat room for a long time.. we tried it before but there wasn't ever enough people in there.. something that would probably change now if we promoted it correctly.
Obviously there are a few things missing (listing whos currently chatting etc) but the basics should work.
Come say hello
it would help to put up a button on the front page to get to the room

^Good suggestions.I also suggest some kind of optional notification for users with multiple tabs or windows that they can turn on if they wanna know when someone posted something new in the chat. It could be a small Sound Effect or havign the tab highlighted like Yahoo IM and others do.

Well that was great fun, nice to chat freely with y'all, even though it's tricky keeping up sometimes.
Coloured names sounds like a great idea (bagsy blue), and an audible blip thingy or flashing tab to announce a new post would be nice. Great addition Ant, thanks again.

I think its a good idea. Maybe add a sidebar with individual users along the side to where they can pm one another. Not sure how hard it would be to do.

Bug report:When you write a "<" and another character right after it without a space the message gets cut of.Example:
"I really <3 Nintendo" is "I really" in the chat
