Story? Who says we need a STORY? Anecdotes of interactions between forum members in comic form would already be hilarious, just because we're all nutso (well, the best folk around are, anyway). But if there's one rule of webcomics I know, it's this: The author needs to be a main character, with all the other characters knowing that he is such.

Just figuring out how to represent people around here in a web comic has high potential for hilarity, provided the artist is extremely creative. Would someone want to try making me look like Snuffalupagus, for example, due to Adam's nickname for me? I'd like to see THAT done!

Just do a comic of Chicken Brutus VS Weird Adam.Or,a comic of SuperSonic1990 VS AlexSays.

i always wanted to make a sprite comic about brawl where this guy gets kicked off the fight roster for brawl, so in order to get revenge he creates his own smash bros game, but he can only get really crappy fighters to come. so he sends them all off in his version of the subspace emissary and he controls basically everything thats going on. but in order to do that, i would need a TON of sprites and dedication, both of which, i do not possess

@SuperSonic1990: Somehow, I had missed the part where you were referring to specific forum threads. I thought you just wanted humorous comics with generic bickering amongst us.

I did read through the you vs. AlexSays thread and post my opinion, though.

Also, in case anybody cares, my favorite sprite comic is easily Planet Zebeth! If you've got some time to burn, I highly recommend checking it out.

Hey, I didn't assert that Planet Zebeth was "the best," just "my favorite." I'm not particuarly interested in one involving Pokemon. Another recommended sprite comic would be Captain SNES! Or for Megaman fans, check out Bob and George (no longer in production). And of course who could forget the Final Fantasy favorite, 8-bit Theater! It's good to be a geek.

Maybe you guys should make whoever does draw the comic a staff member. Just an idea

Considering I spend about half my time on NL responding to reported comments and forum replies, editing profanities and suchlike out, I'll say no. I don't see why there'd be blood in a webcomic about a Nintendo news site anyway...
