Topic: New 3DS Section

I think that a New 3DS section in the forums is needed so that way the 3DS section doesn't have all New 3DS stuff on the first page. For those who are not interested or wont be getting a New 3DS anytime soon this will make it easier to find stuff in the 3DS section of the forums rather then have to dig or use the search function for anything non New 3DS related. Kinda like how you have a separate DS and 3DS section.

Just use the search function, we don't need a new section for a slight hardware upgrade.

That's like saying you want a thread dedicated to the Wiimini, or the gameboy advance sp.

The New 3DS is more then a hardware upgrade its almost like a new system. Will I be able to play New 3DS games on my current 3DS XL?

And it won't be unless the new 3DS gets so many exclusives it becomes a problem.

There isn't new 3ds games, there is A single port of a Wii game. The rest just have system specific features ala the Gameboy Zelda games.

The main New 3DS thread is stickied at the top of the 3DS section. What more do you want?

No seriously we don't need a New 3DS section, Nintendo Life didn't do it back when the DSi came out, and yes folks there were "DSi exclusive games" too (just all 5 of them sucked, by the way I mean retail, DSiWare doesn't really count). So for now, I'm good with one big old general 3DS section. If the New 3DS ends up more like a GBC than a DSi the we'll talk, for now though, case closed.

Hey everyone, I have to agree with some of the comments in here - at the moment I don't think we need a new forum for the New 3DS. At the moment there is only one exclusive game to the platform - Xenoblade 3D. If we get lots more, than maybe we'll open a new forum.

The section on the website is just to make it easy to view New 3DS content whilst the launch is happening..

Yeah, new section isn't really needed...even the DS and DSi share the same section.

AH ok I thought there was a bunch of exclusives games for the New 3DS not just one. Guess that makes sense if you want you can lock the this thread.
