Alright,

So I went to create a thread on a new GB fan translation found for Heracles no Eikou: Ugokidashita Kamigami. Only that said thread was locked because I was told "please don't create threads to advertise". https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/retro/brand_new_the_glory_...

In fact was also the same site I linked that was from an article endorsing a rom hack few days ago. Does this mean in the rules, users can't discuss Rom hacks and fan translations, yet if you are a staff writer you can write stuff like that, even hardware that copies games as 1-2 articles in past I see on search? Sounds like double standards to me.

I'm not sure what the rules are, but I would assume the rules are applied to the forums and not news/articles.

Whatever the case though, a website does not need to be fair. If they choose to have dubbed standards, that's the way it is. Their site, their rules.

Pretty much.

You'll also note in the rules that we don't encourage open discussion of moderating. Use the Contact form if you wish to provide feedback, thanks.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
