I am only into handhelds,i never had a console like a PS4 or an Xbox.I had the PSP and the ps vita.I sold my ps vita because i played all the good AAA games.Im NOT interested in indie games at all.I was going to buy a gpd win,but then i saw the switch. It looks to me like an improved ps vita.I know the switch has some AAA games like Skyrim,Fifa 18, doom, etc.I have never played any of the AAA games the switch supports.I will be buying one for Christmas.I can buy the switch and 2 games.Im only into AAA games, remember that.Should i buy the switch and which 2 games should i buy?I hope you can convince me to get one.I also want to know what other AAA games are on the way for switch.

"I hope you can convince me to get one."

Oh, the inanity!

I hate to break it to you, but you're a human, and she's a Switch. Procreation is the basis of every relationship between any two organisms and the Switch (just barely) counts as an organism, and isn't even capable of procreation. What's the point?

Plus, the Switch is very temperamental. Your relationship will be tumultuous. VERY tumultuous. You guys will be like the Liz and Dick of intermaterial relationships.

Dude, I've been your wingman for, like, a minute and a half, and... don't do it, man. It's a trap.

@WestTexan
You better try NON AAA games.
Expand your choices.
Don't judge the games by HD Open World Only, look at the gameplay for other games.
Every single games are Different.
Sometimes, Indie games are Better than typical AAA 3rd party games.
Some Good Indie games are: Portal Knights, Overcooked Special Edition, Earthlock, Yonder the Cloud Catcher Chronicles (upcoming), My Time at Portia (upcoming), Re:Legend (upcoming), etc.
Try to watch from Youtube, Lower your Expectation for HD Realistic only. Look at for some Cartoonish games. They might be your choices. Appreciate them.

Btw, what genre you usually play and what genre you don't like ?

For AAA this year, well.... Metroid Prime 4, Super Smash Bros Switch, Fire Emblem 2018, probably Animal Crossing Switch, Pokemon Switch.

Note: I also have 2 AAA games, like people said: Zelda Breath of the Wild & Xenoblade Chronicles 2. But in reality, i rarely play those games. Instead, i play Portal Knights a lot (Now is more than 115 hours gameplay). I'm not into AAA Realistic graphics. I'm bored. I'm looking for More HD Cartoonish games. As long looked good, gameplay Okay, i will consider them, regardless the graphics.

Thanks for the list! Will watch gameplay vids of these games.I have 1 more question : Is it cheaper to buy Switch games on the switch store than to buy the game cartridges or are they equally priced?

It's cheaper to buy cartridges for Nintendo's own games like Zelda, unless a good deal comes up on the eShop.

You're barely going to be able to play anything on the gpd win except for indie games and older releases. Get the Switch if you liked the Vita. It's the only thing even remotely close to a modern portable console on the market that's a proper upgrade from the Vita.

Can't believe the Bayonetta games haven't been recommended yet. Those are the two best action games around and you can get them in the same package, I'd say it's worth it. The Resident Evil Revelations games are also worth a go. Everybody else has already covered the obvious stuff.

Anyway, for what it's worth I've been mostly a PlayStation guy since the PS1 hit the market but I bought a Switch last year and it's probably been my most played system. I like that I can put it in the dock and play on the tv (I prefer home consoles) but also have the option to play on the go if I want and it's the same exact game. If you liked the PSP and Vita, the Switch is an absolute no-brainer.

Gamer83

By the way, those games I mentioned, Bayonetta 1 and 2 and RE: Revelations 1 and 2 all run well whether played in handheld mode or docked to the tv.
