Change the name of the general discussion CATEGORY to General Nintendo Discussion. Then we change the general discussion FORUM name to Off-Topic.

Perhaps the NintendoLife logo in the upper right could be moved a little farther to the right. When tabs such as "3DSWare", "WiiWare", or "DSiWare" are selected, the "Retro" tab overlaps the subcategory below the site logo.

So, recently there have been a large number of threads appearing in the 3DS section about the eShop, and it's starting to really irritate me. While I understand that 3DSWare is easier to say than just about any other way to categorize an eShop release, since the term is not being used by Nintendo, I think that I lot of these miscategorized threads would wind up in the proper place if the name of the 3DSWare section were to be changed to say something like "eShop Downloads" or something like that. It's just a suggestion of mine that I think may help prevent chaos on the boards.

I think there should be some sort of friends list like on GameInformer's site, and you can private message friends so that way if you want to give one person your Friend Code or Gamertag and don't want other people finding out.

And as a warning, it does constantly pester you for a username and password, so it can get a little tricky to close.

Game contests. Such as NL Mario Kart Tournaments. Prizes could be just a eShop Prepaid card, Nintendolife branded shirts... I dunno, but have official NL Tourneys would be nice :)
