You know how if someone creates a thread, and perhaps it's not suitable, so it gets completely deleted(?)
Well, do you not think it's pointless for it to come up in the latest posts, for example, "3 hours ago by @theblackdragon" - when said post links you straight to the deleted thread(?)
If we can quite easily get to the thread, isn't that a problem?
Because deleted threads are just that, deleted. Not even Mods get to see them, which is why Mods don't usually delete threads unless its spam. They lock them, and then archive them.
That's not deleted that's an archived thread. If you look in the forums section in the upper right corner you will see an archive tab, that's where that article has been moved.

If its actually deleted rather than locked you should get a "your thread is in another castle" type message, I can't see any deleted threads showing up, if you do its likely a glitch the best way to inform staff about glitches is the contact form they'll see it quicker that way.
we tend to leave threads like that as they not only serve as an example to others, the OP has access to them still (so they know why their thread was locked/archived). we don't like to outright delete threads unless a major rule has been broken (e.g. the OP had posted hardcore pornography or provided links and advice regarding the best torrent sites on the internet, something like that).
does this answer your question? :3
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3
