Ok not sure if this is plausible but I think that maybe the forum sections should be rearranged. I think that General Discussion should be after the News section instead of the Wii U section. I have noticed that alot of people post threads in the Wii U section that honestly should be in the General section. Threads like
Just to name a few that really have nothing to do with the Wii U.
Now I dont know if its because people just assume that is the General Discussion section cause its the first section after News, they are just to lazy to go to the General Section or what but its kind of annoying when you can't find a thread that should be in the General Section and its in some other section cause of posting mistakes. Also what is the point to having sections if everyone is just going to post under the Wii U section? I apologize if this is coming off rude I am not trying to be rude. Also can Mods not move threads to other sections? I have noticed that some Mods lock the thread rather then just move them to the appropriate sections. Again not being rude just curious.

Yes we do have the power to move threads (As I just attempted to do such, but was ninja'd)
But I agree, General Discussion should be moved to right below the News section.
Edit: It seems like when I try to move a thread it deletes it or moves it to some sort of Limbo, lemme contact the higher ups.
No problem at all. I know what its like being a new mod. Again I hope I am not coming off like I am trying to tell you what to do its just confusing that's all. For example I was trying to find the Push Square VS Nintendo Life thread and though oh for sure it was in General Discussion but couldn't find it. The only way I found it was when I went to my profile to look at all the forums posts I made. I mean honestly who would have thought to look for that thread in the Wii U section. My first guesses would be either the General or Other Gaming sections.

It's on PureXbox, just change Nintendolife to PureXbox in the URL and you'll be at the thread.
Which mean @Amiibo you might have to contact the Mods over at Pure Xbox to move it back or Ant. If you are like me you don't have any mod abilities over at the other two sites.
