Topic: File size on reviews for all shop games

I was thinking it would be nice to also have the file sizes with the reviews. Dsiware is the biggest problem. It would be nice to know if I had to move one of my other games off my 3ds to purchase a new one. Also with the increasing sizes of the 3dsware I had to buy a new memory card to keep up with these file sizes! I should be set for a little while now with the bigger card I have but eventually it will fill up as well.

I definitely agree with you. I am running low on memory so it would be nice if the site informed us on how many blocks each game takes.

Yeah, especially on DSiWare games because even on the 3DS you can't play them straight off a memory card, you have to have them on the system memory >.>

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

That would be going the extra mile. Still, I agree.

To help a customer realize how much space he/she needs?

I agree with this idea.

Just for you.

Update on this:

We now use block sizes in the Nintendo Download for that territory. I realise that's not ideal but there's a discrepancy between EU and US block sizes, so we don't display it on the game or review page. Hope that's of some use to you guys — if it is, let me know!

Thanks for the response James! I didn't expect to see this topic opened again. However I'm not sure exactly where that is! Could you explain how to do that. I guess I don't use the options much! Thanks again for any help you can provide.

@Tech101 Happy to help

I don't have a particularly elegant solution for you but here goes: check out the date the game was released on. Let's choose Ketzal's Corridors: 12th April in the good ol' NA. Then just go to Nintendo Download section and find the 12th April NA download.

Like I say, I know it's not elegant but if this catches on we'll see about improving how we handle it in future.

Cheers!
