Why did you guys delete the story located at https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/04/feature_the_art_of_t... ?

Why did your editorial director, Damien McFerran, feel that discussing/promoting the sale of illegal (i.e. pirated) carts would be a suitable topic to discuss/write about on a website that relies on having a friendly relationship with Nintendo?

And can this websites user base look forward to reading more stories about pirated software, including links to find where to purchase them, in the future?

Thanks!

There is nothing illegal about it.. Its too bad this site has such a large fanbase of immature and misinformed 14 year olds and stories like these even have to be given a second thought. But hey, since you have such a problem, perhaps you should start your own nintendo news site, as surely you think you can do a better job? If not then kindly stfu.

If the guy selling the carts did 'nothing' wrong, how come he cancelled the three eBay auctions, removed the hundred or so other auctions he was currently running on eBay (he's now selling nothing) and deleted all information, photos, etc of the Zelda cartridges from his own personal website?

Your right, that doesn't seem suspicious at all!

That's not the issue. The issue is stories having to be deleted because of whiny kids who freak out anytime they read the words homebrew or cart.

Well for starters, the guy is profiting off nintendo's intellectual property, which is a big nono.

I saw the article, but I never looked at it. What was the problem?

-guy did an interview and provided links where he was selling custom SNES carts that contained hacked ROMs for A Link to the Past (for $160-250)
-I contacted eBay, and Jogurt and myself contacted the Nintendo piracy department via email and phone to report the online auctions
-guy cancelled all his ebay auctions and erased all info about the games on his personal website
-guy commented on story and was getting sassed
-article/comments are deleted and swept under the rug
