I'm not sure if its due to the site or the browser, but there seems to be a bug that causes chat to scroll upwards whenever someone posts a new message. Its not entirely too big of a deal, just a bit annoying. Just thought I'd let the you know.

Hm IDK, I have a Mac but I run Firefox and I don't get any problems.

Also, I was just wondering but has anyone tested the 3DS on the Chatbox on NLife? Just Wondering

@Gabe: it's not the same bug as before when it refused to scroll down to show new lines of text as they posted to chat, is it?

@ToadFan: several of us have tested it, and it works fine on the 3DS. it's not an ideal situation, but it works :3

No, I believe that was a one time thing, if I am thinking of the same issue. I am able to scroll down, its just that the text box automatically scrolls upwards every time someone posts something, as opposed to scrolling down to the last post, causing me to have to scroll back down to the latest posts. It might just be my browser configuration, but this has been occurring every time persistently.

i know for a fact that chat works fine in Firefox and Safari for Mac, at least. try it in one of those browsers?

also, that wasn't a one-time thing — it happened to me for a period of months while I was running Firefox on Ubuntu and then afterward when I started using my laptop to access the internet again (running Firefox on Vista). sometimes the chat box would pop upward instead of popping downward... reloading the page would fix it sometimes, other times it'd be useless. it was probably an upgrade to a newer version that resolved the problem on my end, because the chat itself wasn't modified (and probably won't be until it finally comes out of beta). Did you recently upgrade Chrome to a new version, or change any of your settings?

@GabeGreens: I have the same problem on both Mac and PC. I'm guessing it's Chrome, but I haven't used chat on any other browser.

@Rift: I can run chat in Chrome on my PC with no problems (version is 12.0.742.122, it says it's up-to-date, and I'm running Windows 7 Starter). it also ran just fine in Chrome on Windows Vista Home Premium (used it daily), though I can't tell you what version of Chrome that was as that laptop is currently dead, lol. :3

Strange, as my Chrome works fine on PC. We'll be revamping the chat (one day) so we'll make sure this error gets ironed out

I just spent a bit of time on Chrome (Mac) and I wasn't noticing what your experiencing. Are you sure you have the latest version.

I ran a software update, and will make sure to check later on today. I find it quite weird that some are experiencing this while others are not...
