I don't know if it's just my computer or what, but today I was trying to read a Nintendo Life article and the page kept jumping down to a video advertisement and wouldn't let me scroll up or down for a bit.
Then it would stop for a period of time and jump back to the ad for some reason.
I don't use Adblock so I can help support the sites I go to, but if ads are going to actually interrupt me doing what I actually came to the site to do, I will definitely consider blocking ads.
Again, I don't know if it's just me, but I would greatly appreciate it if you could fix this if you had any control over it. And if it is me, please tell me how to make this stop. It's so annoying reading an article only to find that I'm looking at the ad over and over again.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
@kyuubikid213 that shouldn't be happening, could you send us a screenshot of the ad so we can get it banned from rotation? anthony (at) well you can guess the domain name
I was getting this earlier as well. It was on the Guitar Hero article.
I hate video ads to begin with, but now they have ones that automatically scroll you up to it?
I got some pictures of it. It's a weird ad. It starts off with a 60-second BP ad, and then loops pictures of space like three times through, and then goes back to the same BP ad.
The video ads are horrendously obtrusive.
I understand the need for ad revenue, and i have no problem with that, but if video ads can be avoided, it would really be appreciated.
Video ads are making this website nearly unusable for me. Now, regardless of what page I go to, news of forums, some video, hogging up to 20%-30%+ of my CPU and hundreds of MBs of RAM slows my computer down to a crawl. I have to end Adobe Flash through Task Manager every time I change pages on this website, using a two year old laptop.
