This came to mind after several posts recently where it would have been very useful to have more tools for formatting our forum posts. Specifically, I think a table capability would be extremely handy for juggling lists.
A quick search found that's there's already a BBL format used for this kind of feature. Is there any chance of this being implemented? I suppose it could already be implemented and I"m just not aware of it, but my normal reference doesn't list it, so I'm assuming it's not at the current time.
Well, basically anything that would benefit from a defined layout would be useful for tables. This is the post that made me think about the issue. In that post, it would have been really handy to be able to throw the lists into two or three columns instead of having to put it in one really long post.
I could also see it being useful for things like the various avatar and polling threads, where you could use the table functionality to create a voting grid of sorts. Of course, that's just my perception - I've no clue if other people would find as much utility with the feature.
@Dreamz thanks, I see what you mean. However, if for example that post was in 3 columns, it might look nice on a desktop but would look really bad on a mobile (as the template is a lot thinner), so for that reason it's probably better as it is at the moment. Thanks again for the suggestion though!
