Due to the fact that this is a gaming site, people may want to share details on a level of a game without "spoiling" it for users who have not yet reached that specific point. To prevent this, you may want to incorporate a spoiler feature (i.e.,
Blah
[Blah would be hidden]) so the message remains hidden for a user until said user clicks and/or highlights the message. For example, in the recently made "Inception" thread, spoilers were prohibited, thus making people who wanted to discuss the more ambiguous aspects of the film were forced to make an entirely seperate thread to speak of them. Also, people may want to offer tips or tricks to a game, but are inable to hide them from people who would like to play them fairly (e.g., without a FAQ, or a walkthrough). An example of this feature/code can be found on Backloggery. I believe that this feature would solve many of the aforementioned problems I brought up.

Me too as well also.
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

Good example was that Other M thread, lol.
I love Erica (Strike Witches), Eureka (Eureka Seven), and Tenma (School Rumble), stay away from them. xD
Update: Also love Yukari and Mizore from Rosario + Vampire.
Another Update: Also Yuuki...from School Rumble...

Exactly, but what brought the subject to mind was the Inception threads.

I second that. It would be much easier to just add in some spoiler code than to make a completely new thread.
Thanks given to Xkhaoz for that one avatar.

What I don't get is why this site doesn't have it, when every other forum I go to has it.

TBH, I can't imagine it being too hard to add Spoiler code but perhaps it's easier said than done. I'm not the programmer here so I can't say (And I think we only have the one programmer, Ant, right now as it is)

@Terra I'm talking about how it would be easier for a user to type something like
and then
instead of searching for the spoiler-filled thread and posting their thoughts there.

This was already brought up in the Have Your Say thread a while back. Ant has been made well aware of our desire for a spoiler tag, and hopefully we'll see some of the features we all brought up in that thread eventually (if not soon?). :3
