It occurred to me this morning that with the 3DS SpotPass system and the other new online stuff, there's going to be downloadable content available for 3DS games (eg. new tracks and karts for MK3D). I think you guys should rate DLC for games, to help us decide what DLC to get. After all, this site is supposed to review all downloadable games for Nintendo game consoles. Will you reviewing (or just rating) any DLC for the 3DS?

I think it's probably a bit premature to make a decision on this, but we've given overviews of DLC for WiiWare games before (MegaMan series for example) so it isn't out of the question. It'll really depend on Nintendo's pricing strategy - if it offers plenty of paid-for DLC we'll look into it, but if it only offers a few pieces or it's mostly free then I don't think we'll necessarily review it, but we'll certainly do overviews and things like that.

Thanks. I don't know if I made if very clear, but I wasn't asking if you would be properly reviewing DLC, just giving a rating out of 10 and maybe writing a short sentence about it. But you're right - it would only be necessary if there was a lot of large DLC, as in a whole new mission or something like that, not just an extra map, kart, etc.

Nintendo did say, some type of DLC will happen.
