Topic: What other companies would you like to see do "3D Classics"? (Other than Nintendo and Sega)

MrSRArter	1. Posted: Wed 21st Nov 2012 22:02 GMT Nintendo themselves won't be doing anymore 3D Classics, but Sega's going to starting their own line of 3D Classics starting with Space Harrier. What other companies would you like to see try this? I'm going to say Namco because Dragon Spirit, Dragon Saber, Pac-Mania, Burning Force, and Splatterhouse would be perfect games for 3D.

Raiko	12. Posted: Thu 22nd Nov 2012 18:53 GMT Capcom and Konami are obvious choices for 3D Classics range, but we should probably not that only 4 of the current 3D Classics are First Party games. We could see a lot more from Nintendo. I thought Punch Out!! was an obvious choice, but we got it as a VC game instead.

Raiko	17. Posted: Sun 25th Nov 2012 05:45 GMT The weird thing about Nintendo's 3D Classics collection is that they had 3D demos of all those games, and more, before the 3DS was even released. Punch Out!!, Super Mario Bros and Castlevania were all shown off in 3D and I can't believe we've not seen any of them. I guess platformers don't make for the most interesting conversions, but Punch Out would have been cool.

Posted: Sun 25th Nov 2012 06:24 GMT I think it was mentioned in the 3D Classics Iwata Asks that Punch Out proved to be too difficult to 3D-ify (and I guess it's pretty clear why since the large sprites would need to be broken up into smaller components, etc) Idk about Square Enix, since playing RPG's in 3D seems a tad redundant. If we do get 3D Classics: Rad Racer though, I'd be more than happy to buy it.
