Can't believe no one has made this topic yet and with all the rpg fans here even?!

Anyways, it's an interesting topic for a game. One that im going to keep my eye on. Depends on how much rpg this has in it or is it just a rhythm style game?! I will wait for a full review but if the price justifies the content then this could be fun. Never thought of playing a game from this point of view.

What does everyone else think? Want to craft a master sword lol!!

It looks interesting and seeing as I love crafting in games, it definitely got my attention. There's a good chance I might check it out.. it actually reminds me of a game I played recently where you crafted weapons like that.. I can't remember what it was. I think it may have been some weird PC indie game. Looks super familiar though.

i think it is not an RPG game, more of a mini-rhythm game...

looking forward to this game but i have a strong feeling that it will eventually be on sale after few months or weeks... so maybe i'll buy this game on sale, as i love rhythm games and i liked the idea of being a blacksmith... my main main character in ragnarok online was a blacksmith/forger so it reallly got my interest XD

My impressions thus far!

Graphics are standard fair and aren't the games strong points other then the weapons. It's fun making weapons but so far i suck. My weapons are basically not bad which means not good lol.

There is something called grindcast in the game so you actually get to see in written text how the adventurer is doing with your weapons. Some are actually funny as well. It seems we will have a choice to refuse to make or loan a weapon if we think the quest will fail. I like that it has a lot of variety that way.

Making the weapon is rhythm based but it's not hard so far i just don't have any rhythm.

Successful quests earn you money and your weapon back. Failure loses your weapon and any money you would get from that quest so the weapons you make can effect whether they win or lose. Make a so so weapon and you might not get it back. You can also polish weapons to increase stats of the weapon both after you make it and after the quest is over.

Just barely into this and enjoying what ive seen so far.

last thing, your shop has a rating and the higher you get it the mort customers you get so there is plenty of incentive to make the best you can. Nice customization and plenty of story from various adventurers make for interesting gameplay.

I can see why this took so long to localize. The game has its own twitter feed! There isn't much game play so to speak and the rhythm timing can be harsh, but reading quest logs and dialogue is surprisingly engaging. The writing and humour are both top notch, and any long fan of jrpgs will be laughing aloud at some moments. It's a little like Recettear and I've been loving it so far.

I'm trying to choose between this or Inuzuma Eleven. Right now due to funds its one or the other. Both look intriguing to me. Also level 5 has been very generous with sales on its games except I'm not very patient :) I don't know if I can wait for sale even though I have backlog of games about 50 miles long. What do you guys think? Weapon Shop or Inuzuma Eleven?

Whoever localised this game must sure know their internet. The jokes are translated wonderfully.

"Finally! <Received treasure> is now my waifu."
"That guy was one of the Big Four? He was weaksauce!"
"I was like "Monster, you have such good posture!" and he was like "thanks, bro!""
"#touchingsidequest"

I haven't laughed this hard at a game in a long time. Whoever wrote all this is a genius.

They said that the concept is quirky (in a good way), and RPG fans will appreciate the charming story that humorously riffs on all the RPG clichés, but underneath it's quirky surface is a disappointing gameplay experience, which is not only repetitive, but also very shallow, with no depth to be had.
