Heard about this but I didn't see that Nicalis was publishing it. Great, it will be ages before we see this thing. T_T

@tbd - yep, we're still waiting. I ended up getting it on WiiWare though I'd have much preferred to play on the DS. Really couldn't cope with the PC controls.

looks like And Yet It Moves

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

But it's not. VVVVVV's explore wherever, tackle the challenges in whatever order suits you style is more closely akin to a hybrid between a good Metroidvania and Mega Man, at least imo. That and you can't jump; instead, you reverse gravity so that the ceiling becomes the floor and vice versa; a lot of precision flipping and timing to pass/avoid obstacles is required to survive. I'm actually hoping this comes out soon; you need a real D-Pad and not a keyboard substitute for this game.

Exactly.

Have you played the game? As much as I love NightSky and And Yet It Moves, VVVVVV is far superior (and totally different than AYIM, @AtomicOtaku).

I don't care about anything else Nicalis puts out until La-Mulana is on Wiiware.
There's no excuse for this slow BS of waiting for their games to be released.
A delayed game may eventually be good but this is rediculous.

yeah, as easy and justified as it is to point out how worthless Nicalis is, it's probably more NOA's doing.

This looks interesting, read about this game in a MacLife magazine.

unless there are bugs involved, which did happen with Cave Story WiiWare iirc — something about the music and then things being unlocked at the outset that shouldn't have been, idk. didn't they fix those with the EU release?

well Nicalis is just publishing it, the actual people who made La Mulana is developing La Mulana Wiiware. Which is probably for the best for all involved.

Nice article about this game in the latest NP. I especially liked the part at the end where Tyrone Rodriguez from Nicalis mentioned there would be player-created level sharing in it.

Exactly.

@shingi: Didn't Cave Story get sent back at least twice due to errors/bugs that needed hammering out? The ball isn't out of their hands until it passes lotcheck.
