Nah, I haven't yet. These past few weeks it's been pretty tame.

Wont delete it. Why? Its small, useful and sth to stay connected to my friends.
Did you pay coins to be able to delete it?
Grammar errors? We could use the german language instead of the english one of course - do you dare? ;)
No, SwapNote doesn't bother me in the slightest.

haha, that's a good question.
i've been considering deleting Swapnote, i haven't opened it in well over a week or two by now... it was just too much stress to keep up with everything, lol. idk, i might get back into it later; i can always just shove it on the last page of the 3DS Menu anyway :3

Seeing as I only have two friends on my 3DS atm, I sure don't have a problem with it.
One thing is that it doesn't seem to notify me, even though it's opt-in. Haven't really minded that, cause I still can see the little blue prick.
Nintendo, make so you can arrange your icons now!

You have to wait awhile for the notification, it's more of a reminder to check out the message.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

I think my biggest issue was I put my 3DS down for days and weeks at a time. Then when I did get around to picking it up I would have 100 messages and 95% of them were just boring extremely pointless messages (some of them were hilarious or extremely well drawn but not many). I would have to spend an hour+ trudging through spam, a lot of which I could barely read.
This thing is basically a poor man's Twitter involving crudely drawn images that resemble grade school art.......and it takes foreveeeeeerrrrrr to load them all on top of it. It just wasn't worth my time. I always had this nagging feeling like I was responsible to check it too, which I dreaded. So I just deleted it to cut the whole mess out entirely.
If you like it and get good use out of it or don't mind completely unused apps on your system then that's cool. I am just curious if there are other people who feel the same way.
I just wish Nintendo would add a more stream-lined message system similar to sending/receiving text on a cell phone........
[insert 25 Cents here to play]
Does anyone have a problem with getting the same messages over and over again from the same person? Both a co-worker and my son have sent me messages and since I see them often, I get StreetPass hits from them daily. Every day I also get the exact same message from them. Is there some sort of check-box they have to click when they create a message that says "send this every day forever"? What gives?

After not opening it for weeks, I deleted it a couple days ago. It's a pretty lame attempt for a messaging/chat service on the 3DS.

@Magi, when you send messages, you can choose to do so through Spotpass (to ppl on your Friend List) or through Streetpass. So whenever you get a SP, you also get a Swapnote from them. Since you see your co-worker and son everyday, you'll be getting the same Swapnote, unless they change the note to something else. I've never received any Swapnotes from people I SP yet.
I'm never going to delete Swapnote. It's great for drawing stuff (my specialty is western style cartoon characters) without needing to ink and scan and all that crap and send instantly to people. I've also received great drawings from other people so I'm cool with it.

I have roughly 30 friends on my 3DS (though I'd like to get everyone on my Backloggery page to add me back), and I usually get between 15-30 notes a day. It doesn't bother me that much since I disabled the SpotPass notifications, and I usually just go on before I go to bed. It's better than the Friend List, for sure.
Exactly.

I'm considering deleting it because of the average quality of handwriting on there alone. D:
