Have played. Is great. 3D effect is really nice in a 2D game. Makes me want to make my own 2D game with 3D layering.

Interesting the price is actually $6.99 not $5.99. I have no sales tax in my state by the way.

Do you recommend buying this game since Nightmare in Dreamland (which i have) is a remake of Kirby's Adventure?

I don't think I can rationalize buying this since I already have Nightmare in Dreamland, and I don't really feel like replaying the game even if the 3D is amazing.

Their site says it's $5.99 as well: http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/qVbdINHnn_4GOI5wGdYhLe-i...

I give Nintendo some slack on the typo though...they been busy starin' down at the repulsive Peta ppl for the last day or so.

I'm gonna get it when I have time for it. I love Kirby series. I've beat Nightmare in Dreamland (don't have it) and Wii VC Kirby's Adventure (which I have) but it's not going to stop me for getting this one too.

The 3D isn't all that amazing although the graphics do look polished. For those that have Nightmare in Dreamland its up to you. I am a huge fan of this game so I'm biased. Having it on the go makes this great for me, plus it looks a bit nicer imo. A bit of a steep price tag yep but fully worth it to me.

You better get cracking then!

...and yes the 3D looks very good and it's cool to have a meatier game for a 3D Classic.

Does it still have the slowdown of the Wii VC version? I remember some pretty horrible lag when many things were happening at once.

No lag so far. I'm at World 3-2 so far. No slowdown at all.

It's a very good game for the eShop. Best 3D-Classic so far. The 3D effect is not as stong or well used as in previous 3D-Classics, but the 3D still fits the game beautifully and the gameplay is what really sells it. I also played Nightmare in Dreamland, but I dont have a GBA anymore, or a DS Phat, so I'm happy to have a portable version of kirby stuck in my 3DS :3

I make Pixel Art on occasion.

The 3D is done just right. It's actually better than I anticipated. And yes @Tony_Vayza - the graphics have been polished up....Yaaay for no noticeable slow-down!!!

Ooh, I just watched the trailer and I'm sold.

The 3D is indeed perfectly handled; I'm not sure I get the complaints there. Some people just dont "see" the 3D unless it's popping out, it seems. I'd say that it adds beautiful clarity and a paper-like layering to the word that has me very excited to play these levels again.

I wasn't complaining about it. It just doesn't seem all that noticeable to me. There are parts though where it really does enhance the game. Parts of World 3 especially with the revolving towers and that area you go into darkness. Still though the polish is nice and it runs absolutely smooth.

Be sure to go into the Options where you can change the background for Kirby. You can make it dark or light by pressing Y.

darken background or not darken background? That is the question.
