I've played the game for 2 hours and I really like it. The game only let's you demo 7 stages of one game and you have to buy the rest. So far the lowest haggle has been $1 but the first game you buy will not go lower than $2.

I found this game to be really addictive, more than I expected and VERY challenging. I had 3 bucks in my eshop account and bought the Cage Batting game and I'm enjoying it. I agree that having stage demos for each game would have been ideal. From what I've seen most of the games have 50 stages and 2 endless modes (except bat making). The endless modes reward you with costumes if you get an A rank (very difficult).

The game I have is batting only but it does different things with it. The first few stages is just getting enough points. Then the type of pitches will change (fastballs, curveballs ect). Then it'll switch to you trying to get walked by not swinging on the balls that go out of the strikezone. This isn't a full baseball game and more like taking all the aspects of baseball and breaking them down into mini-games.

It's a fun little game, sorta like Weapon Shop de Omase to play in-between games. How much you get out of it depends on how many games you buy and how badly you want the highest rank. Getting A's on each stage rewards you with more stamps which get you items an discounts, but it's very difficult. I played 2 1/2 hours and I've only cleared about 12 stages of the game I bought because I've been trying to get an A rank. There is a little story that plays out when you buy the first 6 games (in any order)

From what I've been reading, the bottom line for a price is dependent on how many games you've purchased. Your first game will always be $2.00, decreasing by ten cents until your sixth game, where it drops to $1.

Now playing:
Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) | Fire Emblem Awakening (3DS) | Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)

I would come up with a clever name for my backloggery, but my name prevents it.

Not all the games follow the same format and conventions.

For example, the Bat making game is just that- you make a custom bat to use it in the other games.

Whoa, I wasn't expecting much from this game but it turns out it's fantastic! It definitely scratches that Wario Ware itch that's been bugging me recently. (Why you no make Wario Ware for 3DS Nintendo???) I didn't like the idea of haggling in the game using real money at first, but it's really simple to get the lowest price for each minigame, and the minigames are fun as hell! They're packed with tons of different challenges unique to each minigame, which do an excellent job of mixing up the formula slightly and giving you incentive to keep playing them. I'm also in love with the game's story and characters, and the way the game builds up these aspects with each minigame you buy.

BTW, if you haggle properly you can get all 10 minigames for $16.00, which is a fair price for all that the game offers you. I've said before that $15.00 is the lowest amount of money I would spend on any downloadable game, but for this I can make a small exception. If you just want to get through the story mode, you can ignore the four optional minigames (which can be bought for $1.50 each), and end up spending $10.00 total on the six main minigames.

Thanks. I think all the others still have 50 stages though. I think I'll be avoiding that one since I don't really have an interest in it.

The story, so far has been pretty hilarious to me as well. Do you have all of the main 6 ones? I only have the Cage batting(hitting) can't remember what it's called lol and I'm trying to get a feel for what the others are.

So now you're saying the game isn't unique? (pardon my rudeness but I can't help but feel like this.)...

I pardon the rudeness but I don't understand what you mean.

You're saying that the game is similar to Ace Attorney in some way that it made me feel like this concept isn't new.....that's what I was upset about.

Huh, no. I said the haggling process here was similar to Ace Attorney (specifically speaking, the cross examination parts of the trials, where you ask questions and present objects), you know, to give interested possible customers a comparison point.

Even then. I hardly find that to be a negative or something to get upset about.

In other news, unless you really want to customize your bat or get a Ninja outfit, I don't really recommend to buy the bat making mini game.
I got it, and even though it is fun to sculpt the bat like they do in real life and test it, it's not as worthwhile as the full minigames.

I'd recommend to save that one for last, if you plan to buy 'em all.

One I do recommend is the sharp eye one (dunno if that's its real english name). It's the one where you judge and say ball or strike. The modes are very varied and fun in that one.

Yeah, I got into this game, and have now bought everything. Ran me $15.90, which anyone can get with haggling.

I've enjoyed the mini-games more than I expected. The ones that use motion controls are a lot better than I expected, and I usually dislike the use of motion control on my 3DS.

Though I've unlocked all of the games and completed the entire story, I still have a long way to go finish everything. This will keep me busy for a while.

$16 is too much in my mind for buying such basic games, but is the story really enough to justify spending $10 on? I did find it humorous, but I didn't like the way Rusty was trying to guilt people into buying his games, and I'm not sure I actually want to play any of them. I feel like Sub Wars went too far in making the game playable for people that paid nothing so that a lot of people haven't bought it despite obviously playing the online a great deal, and this game provides so little free content that it's not enough for me to be sure I want to play it, and I fear if I buy one game I will feel obliged to buy them all regardless of whether I like them as they get cheaper and cheaper.

So I managed to get most of the games and now I'm stuck with the part where he's stuffed and can't haggle anymore. Any idea how I can progress from that point on?

@iphys Whether you think you'll enjoy the games or not is totally up to you but for what it's worth I think they provide really good value for their lowest haggle prices and the game is built around making it as easy as possible to get the prices down

Actually, now that I look at it again, some of the games you'd have to buy to advance the story require using motion controls, so I think I'd rather not go down that road.

I added some eShop credit and I made my first haggle last night. In the official website ( I got there via Nintendo's website) there are movies for each of the ten games so you can see them in action. I know I will end up buying everything, and I don't feel it is that expensive.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

I'm just praying there's no gimmicks involving using the microphone....as mine is unresponsive and has been for quite some time.

Yesterday, I downloaded Rusty and the GBA Downloads and was mainly tied up playing the latter games on my Wii U. I'm just now getting around to playing Rusty and, OMG, the dialogue is hilarious!!! It reminds me very much of the Story-Mode from MLB Power Pros. I'm already enjoying this and have yet to drop one dime on it.

I also gave Rustrix back to his dad Rusty & had to only pay $1 on the one mini game as oppose to $4. Rustrix said he missed me so now he hang's out with me in the game. :D I don't mind. I like having Rustrix around. :)

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

Do you have a physical handicap that prevents you from using motion controls? If not, you need to get over yourself and accept that they work equally well, and in many cases better, than joystick controls. The gyroscope controls on the 3DS are ultra-precise, ergonomic, and work about as well as using a mouse on your PC.
