I liked them both about equally though. I'm disappointed about getting stuck on Zyrac's puzzle for a while, but I haven't played pushmo in quite a while!

It's encouraging just to see you guys post. I can understand if you've been occupied with other games; such is, after all, the main reason I haven't been posting many puzzles lately myself. I do always make time for contest entries, but that's because I'm the one running them!

The next theme is Donkey Kong. I hope to see more than a couple of entries by 11:59PM GMT on Wednesday 13th February.

For quite a long time I tried to find a Donkey Kong Country sprite that could fit as a pushmo. Most don't work because they're either too big or have too many colors. However, I found one particular enemy that barely fits the 32x32 limit and has a low enough number of colors. It's name is Lockjaw, from Donkey Kong Country 2!

Just realised I typo'd the deadline date - it's Wednesday 13th February, not 12th. I don't suppose that makes a big difference to anyone, but I'm posting about it just in case.

Hey! I've also been missing... I just had two weeks of craziness at work where, despite being part-time, I have been getting basically full time hours. That means several hours of standing, if not more strenuous activities, for a solid two weeks. Needless to say, I intend to curl up with some Pushmo and Crashmo this coming week, so I will definitely be participating more! See you guys on the other side. 0_o

The DKC games do indeed have rather large and colourful sprites for this - so it's a good thing there were Game Boy adaptations of them! Thus, here is the downscaled Diddy Kong from Donkey Kong Land 2. This one worked out really well, despite being another case of my original intentions getting foiled by Mallo being too darn good at jumping.

I vote for Zyrac's GB Diddy Kong. It was truly a great puzzle to play after being away from Pushmo for so long. A great re-introduction to the game.

I'll return the vote for your Lockjaw. Good puzzle, tricky without being frustrating.

sorry for the Pushmo break - I started crashmo and it was so hard that I had a "What is life?!?" moment, and gave up on all puzzle games for a while.
