At level 30 you obtain the most powerful skill and weapon and at the level cap is level 40.

The game has a very anticlimactic ended (although that fits in with the rest of the barely existent story) and probably the easiest final boss I've ever faced in a game (it took two attacks to defeat them).

Obtaining all skills and weapons and beating the game took me 8:48 according to my activity log.

O_O

I spent 20:40 beating the Sword of Hope II (a 20 year old Game Boy RPG).

For a 3DS RPG that was meant to be retail, that 9 hr playtime seems criminally short, even at it's $10 price point (heck, tSoH2 is only $2.99, it offers a longer story, and a better one at that according to what people have been saying about this game's story).

Currently Playing:

Quiz RPG: Legend of Mystic Wiz (AND)
Popcork! (AND)
B.B. Bear Danmaku (AND)

Sounds like an unfinished game TBH. A retail quality game for 10 bucks? Something was lost in the process.

Miyamoto on his desire to focus more on the (hard)core Nintendo fan.

[The casual] attitude is, ‘okay, I am the customer. You are supposed to entertain me.’ [...] and to me it’s kind of a pathetic thing.

Based on these impressions I won't be touching this game with a 10-foot pole. For me $10 is a lot of money, and I have a great download RPG in the Sword of Hope II. Thanks for the impressions though.

9 hours is NOT a bad length for $10. FFIV: After Years lasted about 3-4 hours for $8. And everyone knows LostWinds was rather short.

If it were retail, I'd see some of the complaints, but for 10 bucks, there is NO reason to groan over price and content.

This is a signature.

Screw you.

Can you pause during battle then? That's silly there's a 60 sec timer on moves in the game :/ Its one of those games I'd probably play while doing something else and thus not pay attention to for periods of time.

Technically, FFIV: TAY was longer than that but you had to pay extra for the full game. Also, how enjoyable the game itself is important too. Planet crashers sounds very boring, bland and repetitive for me. I payed 1,200 points for Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Earth, beat it in 5 hours and still thought it was worth that price due to how awesome the game itself was.

So can you have more than one account on the main game?

@Kitsune_Rei I don't think you can actually if I recall correctly, but you can always just press the home button.
I played while playing other things and it's safe to put it down at any time while you're not in a battle so it wasn't much of a problem.
Just a couple of times I got distracted while in a fight and looked back to see the computer attacking me. :P

@FonistofCruxis Yeah, the length of the game isn't the problem.
It's the fact that it isn't overly that fun.
As well as being too short, it's also too easy and too repetitive.
There's a lot of games on the eShop that have much more value for money.

@Cowtruck Nope.
You have one save file that has one character and that is all.

After seeing the impressions, I can see why Renegade Kid didn't advertise this game to too many people, unlike their Dementium games, Moon, and Mutant Mudds, which were all really good games.
