Yes that's right, free DLC for those who previously bought Mutant Mudds on the eShop, Europe is getting it on the 18th October and North America on the 25th. Not sure if i'm right? here's the link: http://www.gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=187600

Edit: The Regular levels are also getting an added Grannie CGA level too! Check out the link for more details!

I'll probably skip out. While I enjoyed Mudds, I didn't enjoy it enough to want more :P

I hope you all have fun with it, though.

I'm definitely downloading the DLC, I paid $16 NZD for this game, thats nearly as expensive as Dillons Rolling Western. Of course this should be free, paying that kind of money for a game I could literally beat in a day is ridiculous.

Ok I really feel like a noob for not knowing this, but what's CGA?

Can't wait for these levels.

CGA is an obsolete graphic mode used by very old PC games from the MS-DOS era, like Commander Keen, Secret Agent, Crystal Caves, among others. It has a fixed palette of 16 colors, which -going by the screenshots- was perfectly recreated for Granny's levels.

@CosmicMii yeah you should get it, it's difficulty is moderate, but in the end it it gets harder but more rewarding, which is what I like in a game. Be warned though, this game doesn't contain boss battles, but I'm sure they will change that in the sequel, which they confirmed is happening.

I finished all the CGA levels. They started off really great but they got a little stale by the end, as they never really added any challenges that you didn't already see in the first few stages. Still, great way to extend the life of the game a few hours. And at no extra cost! More publishers need to take note of this.

After you finish it seems to be teasing something...

I feel like an idiot for asking this, but...where can I find those levels in the game after I've downloaded them? I can't find them for the life of me.

@DiscordedTeeJay - They're built into the previous levels like the V-Land and G-Land levels were. Typically, they're on the back layer, so just explore the level until you notice them; it also helps to use the Super Jump (idk how to otherwise describe the action, it's the Up + Jump one) when exploring.

Exactly.

It's a little bit more than a tease. Did you notice that Max was standing in a level that we haven't seen yet?

Thanks Birdman. I tried getting to them but...I can't! What the heck?! They're just too far out there! Is there some sort of trick to this?

EDIT: I see what the problem is. I'm not Grannie. I thought the granny levels were levels in which you play as Grannie, but in reality you have to unlock Grannie first to even get into them. That confused me. I still have to get the last 3 sprites in the lat 3 levels in the forefront of the level selection area.

It's very annoying because I can't even get to these new levels because the game is so DAMN HARD!!!!!
Or it's that I suck at it...
