I would really like some details on the price for the game. Got 8 euros in my eShop account at the moment. Hope it's not above that price point.

The North American price is $5.99.

Where did you read this? I've seen it stated that the price will be "similar" to the original's pricing, but that doesn't mean it'll be exactly the same. I'd expect it to be within $2 though, so $7.99 max.

Think Nintendo life said in their article about the release date for the game.

Klimbatize

Indeed it does! Not in the article itself, but in the info box on the side. I overlook those too often.

$5.99 is a little lower than I expected from a sequel to a successful game. I hope that translates into a lot of sales for WayForward.

@MrSRArter Thanks! And I believe you are correct. Just checked the North American site myself and it says $5.99.

Crashmo (or Fallblox in EU) is a sequel to the highly successful Pushmo that sold for €5.99. Crashmo on the other hand, sells for €7.99. That's why I thought this game might sell for more than just 6.

Anyways, as long as it doesn't exceed the €6-8 price range, I'm fine.

I downloaded this and it is well made! I have to warn you though: The game is noticeably harder than the first.

The game is almost perfect. I would have preferred a bit more innovation than was present, but the game is still fantastic. The babies also increase the replay value of the levels, in addition to the challenge of meeting the PAR time limits.

Wayforward makes the best eshop games.

I always laugh, thinking how when Patricia kicks the baby away and screams "YOU'RE SAFE!",the baby is more than likely injured from the kick.

Would you recommend this to me if I loved the original?

NintendoLife's review caused me to shy away from getting it a bit, after them saying the level designs were copy/paste like.

If you liked the first game, you will like this one. It's pretty great. I think Phil's review did a great job of letting people know what to expect, but I think the 7 is a little harsh. It's a lot of fun and fairly inexpensive.

The speedrunning aspect adds a lot of replay value for me. I've already crushed the final level's par time by over a minute.

Well I bought it, and I'm so glad I did!

Not only are the levels pretty good so far, but the new soundtrack is as groovy as ever

Oh man, I love MSF2 so much more. The whole "YOUR SAAAVED!" while kicking a baby across the screen is just hilarious.

The game is pretty great. The new water mechanics and fire elements change the gameplay a lot, so it definitely has a different feel than the first game. This one might even be better.

I think the hose makes things really interesting. Of course I'm biased as I absolutely love this game...I'm not kidding when I say I have over 100 hours played.
In any case it's more interesting than the the typical gun, and I don't miss having to exploit game physics with the Mighty Shot like the first one when speedrunning.
