Step on the floating tile that says "LO", then the one that says "VE", and that door will be unlocked.

Having a little trouble on 47, but it's just a "put the right orb in the correct pedestal" puzzle, so at worst, it'll just come down to systematically checking all the options.

It practically tells you where to put the yellow orb (the rightmost pedestal), and I thought the red orb would be the "9th month" (red=hot=August), blue would be the "1st month" (blue=cold=January), and purple would be the the "4th month", but that didn't open up the door, so I'm going to have to think of something else.

Okay, so how's it work? I'm stuck there now too, and the puzzle is apparently very different in the Japanese version of the game, so the Google translated Japanese walkthrough I've been using is no help at all. Of course, the translation is bad enough that it's usually a challenge to use it anyway...

Referring to floor 47? I ended up systematically going through all the possible answers, and while I don't remember the exact combonation, I do remember that the the red orb was in the third pedestal. Here are all the possible combonations with that in mind:

YBRP
YPRB
BYRP
BPRY
PYRB
PBRY

P=purple
Y=yellow
B=blue
R=red

@RR529 Wow your already on floor 52. I am only on floor 17 (though i am taking my sweet time). this game seems to be loads easier than the first one that one could be just plain brutal!

Now for something completely different!
Still got it memorized?

Finished up floor 53! I love it when you get that "Aha!" moment, when you're stuck on a certain puzzle, and then the answer just pops in your head so clearly.

What's up with me and "7" floors? Firstly 27, then 47, & now 57...

Seriously stumped here. There are switches surrounding the perimeter of the area, although only 10 of them open up walls (within the open area in the middle of the map).

I've tried activating all the switches, only the ones that open up walls, only the ones that don't open up walls, and none of them at all, but nothing new seems to be opening up (I only have 6 tiles left, too).

EDIT: Completed it (the floor, not the game. I still have 3 floors left...)!

Ugh, now I'm stuck on floor 58 (to be fair, I've gotten to the way out, but there are two doors I haven't unlocked with 6 tiles I need to get)!

There are six switches, each one with a (black) plaque opposite of it, that switches the message on it.

Seriously one of the messages has two lines of "text". The first line has a red X, a big gap, and and a white O. The second line has a red 1, a white 2, a red 4, a small gap, and a red 3. (when you hit the switch, the plaque's message switches from this to a simple white X). the 5 other plagues in the area all feature a red or a white shape (X,O,☆,▼,■) which changes depending on whether their corresponding switch is "on" or "off".

@RR529 man you are killing it! I'm still on 25 but I have been Chain gaming again! Dang all these good games to play! LOL I recently downloaded Harvest Moon New Beginning and have been trying to get online open so me and a friend from hawaii can co-op. Then I fired up Trackmania Last night for Nintendo DS and ended up playing that for a while. This thursday I bet there will be some games I want on the downloads. I probably should hold off on them until I beat Picdun 2. I just love the graphic style of Picdun 2 and the puzzle element it puts in front of you on each floor. 60 floors is probably just about right for the length of the game. Would you think so? Would you also like to see them change the Characters in Picdun 3 if they make it? Cool looking adventurers as opposed to sexy adventurers?

Wow, that's not my feeling at all...I'd say this one is MUCH harder. Well, the puzzles, anyway. Combat is easier.

It turns out that the hints on floor 47 relate to birthstones, of all things. It was quite the epiphany when I realized that...which I only did becaus my brother had already trial-and-errored his way to the solution, and yellow goes in the middle-left slot, which is labelled month 4. I was born in April and know that I got stuck with diamonds...which the hint plaque tells you are yellow. Sure enough, September gets sapphires and January gets garnets...leaving the unmarked month to be amnythists.

Well (on floor 58), I don't think it's any combination of 2 "on" and 4 "off" switches that open the two doors. I've tried:

1. OXXXXO
2. OXXXOX
3. OXXOXX
4. OXOXXX
5. OOXXXX
6. XOXXXO
7. XXOXXO
8. XXXOXO
9. XXXXOO
10. XOXXOX
11. XXOOXX
12. XOXOXX
13. XXOXOX
14. XOOXXX
15. XXXOOX

O = on switch
X = off switch
(If you notice any combination of 2 on, 4 off that I missed, please inform me).

Next I'll try all combinations of 3 on, 3 off (it's pretty annoying, since I have to check two doors, and since I believe encounters seem to be more frequent. It seems like I'm getting into a fight every 3 steps, and I've maxed my level, so I can't even grind).

Well, apparently, it's not any combination of 3 "on", 3 "off", either:

1. OOOXXX
2. OOXOXX
3. OOXXOX
4. OOXXXO
5. XXXOOO
6. XXOXOO
7. XOXXOO
8. OXXXOO
9. OXOXOX
10. XOXOXO
11. XOOOXX
12. XXOOOX
13. XOOXOX
14. XOOXXO
15. OXXOXO
16. OXXOOX

O=on
X=off

If there's any I missed (of 3 "on", 3 "off"), please inform me.

They loved the length, and the fun puzzles, but disliked the fact that you can't mark on the map, and thought the graphics were a bit stale.

Also, has anyone managed to beat this? I gave in with 2 or 3 floors to go, lol.

Well, it's finally launching in EU this week!

It's no Denpa Men or Crimson Shroud, but if you're into RPGs, it's still well worth the DL.
