Really enjoyed the first one, and if improves upon the better features of the first one, I'll be sure to grab this one.

Please, god, let there be a sequel to X-Scape.

I think a 3DS sequel to X-Scape would be awesome. Alas, I fear the game did not sell enough to justify a sequel. We'll see I guess.

BTW, God would be with a capital "G" but I don't know that He cares about an X-Scape sequel. ; )

It was a DSiWare title with a bizarre art style and lack of information. What did they expect?

Did the first game have any major story beats that needed to understand the sequel.

Nope not a one. Not much of a story at all.

@Sony_70 - Story was a paper-thin Western-ish story of "lone ranger rolls into town to take care of the bad guys" type of thing. There are other elements to it than that, but I don't think you'll need any experience with the first one to understand what happens in the 2nd one.

Exactly.

So far just did one level of the first stage and just about nothing has changed. Still no time display for how long you have in the daytime. Controls haven't changed at all which I'm happy with as I've not skipped a beat and picked it up instantly. So far it just feels like more levels added to the last game but I'm sure more into this it will get much different! I hope!

Edit: Well I spoke to soon. Once you finish the first battle you actually get to walk around the saloon now and talk to people. Nice added touch!

I read somewhere (I can't remember where) that there are left-handed controls.

How's everyone liking it so far? I think I may have to hold off on this for a little while(wasn't expecting htis to cost so much for some reason), but I should get it eventually.
