Title sums up my question. I never picked up the physical copy, but I've read many complaints about lag with the 3D slider on... and even some complaints about the touch screen controls not working properly on the XL, like Bit.Trip Beat. Does anyone here have both the physical & digital editions, and could they give an account of these issues and whether or not they've been fixed? Thanks.

So the lag is still there.

dammit, gaijin.

i like the way they phrased it, though, 'so you can expect the same kind of performance'... try 'nonperformance'. hmph.

Yeah, that's relativism for'ya. Anyway, I'm very happy with Bit.Trip Complete... and it has none of the performance issues of Saga.

And thanks for the reply, DarkKnight. =)

Sure. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news; I very much wish I could have a non-compromised BIT.TRIP experience on the go as well.

COMPLETE is pretty much perfect, aside from the VOID glitch (checkpoints don't work). As close to a perfect collection as we're ever going to get, anyway.

Are those the only issues? 3D slider being on and some touch controls?

@jdarrell: if you're a CORE fan like me, be aware that the Saga version of it has serious audio desyncing issues throughout Exploration and Control — Discovery is passable, and i think you can get halfway through Exploration before it starts getting bad, but Control was unplayable IMO. Runner is similarly compromised; i forget exactly where the lag begins to start, but it's also no bueno. It's possible to get used to Runner's lag issues, as evidenced by users who have worked hard to perfect it regardless of its problems (i know bezerker99 is one of those people, haha), but i'd rather play it on the Wii and not have to deal with that kind of thing if i'm in the mood to play it at all :/

I have to turn the 3D off when playing Runner. Despite the lag, I've almost perfected the game //me shakes fist at Bonus Level 3-2 >:[

If you go to the system settings and disable the 3D, the speed returns to normal, from what I hear

Well I guess I had to pick this up at that price lag or not! Never played any in the series.

I wish then I would get a Wii U! I still have some eshop cash sitting there so decided to dl it! I'm loving my 3ds so much though that I wouldn't have time for a wii U in my life right now!

The 3DS has definitely been growing by leaps and bounds...and then all of today's news! Gaming is getting pricey for me. And add my Wii U wishlist too that.

My wallet is crying.

Yep been crying!! By this time next year I'm looking at about 10-15 New 3ds games and I'm sure no less then 10 eshop games. Please don't do the math I don't want to know how much Mooney that is! :'(

I hear you on that one. Now that I"m almost done with the demo I'm gonna need something new. It could be Bit Trip due to the sale.

Oh well. I was going to suggest that! Looks like you've played them all. Oh wait how about Unchained Blades. It's a lot like Etrian Odyssey?
