Cave Story hands down. Original (read: perfect) aspect ratio and buttons (I can no longer play this game on a computer). I have 50 hours logged from beating the game every which way except for completing Hell on Hard Mode. Easily worth every penny, can still pick it up and play it smiling all the way.

I would get this off the eShop, but I want the physical version of Cave Story. Cave Story 3D.

Yeah, I just want the pretty box on my shelf.

I would stay away from CS 3D, unless all you want a pretty box on your shelf. Look at screen shots and review and it's plain to see how bland and uninspired the 3D platforms and environments look. They even max out your health to 90+ because Hell was too hard. For the definitive CS (nintendo) experience your gonna want the eShop download.

Maxing out health at hell huh? Heh. Sounds like the Devs had to...

cave-in.

Anyway. Super Acorns 3d turbo. (at sale)
VVVVV (at sale)
Samurai Sakura (at sale)

Kokuga (Full Price). I would have imported it if I could and the dev would have got the full Jap retail price.

Gunman Clive (Full Price). Totally worth it same price as everywhere else which is important.

Amazing platforming fun; I must have played through that game 5 times by now.

I make Pixel Art on occasion.

Excluding stuff I got from Club Nintendo? VVVVVV, Gunman Clive, Mega Man 2-6 and Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale, with either Mega Man 6 or VVVVVV being my favorite.

Crimson Shroud is the one I've played the most and the most enjoyable. The podium is completed with Gunman Clive and Pullblox. Honorable mentions: too many.

and in third goes Link's awakening DX, Kirby's adventure and kid icarus!

Downloaded instead of retail - Code of Princess, Luigi's Mansion, Dream Team, Project X Zone
Download only - Crimson Shroud, Denpa Men, Picross e, Pushmo, Starship Damrey

And I love all my VC games, as great as games are today, all of those games on the NES and GB are from my childhood and will always be special.

Dillon's Rolling Western - it has its flaws but I just love it.
Virtue's Last Reward - One of the best games I've ever played. Not sure if you're counting retail downloads but I had to bring it up.
Link's Awakening - A sublime experience.
Pullblox
Crimson Shroud - Simply marvelous RPG

My absolute favorite is a DSiWare, and it was from Nintendo Club coins, since that's a different topic I'll say my best 3DSWare from the eShop is Zen Pinball. I love real pinball, and until i played Zen Pinball, all video pinball games could not capture that sense of real pinball. Second favorite from the eShop is World Puzzler, it's a good time killer.

Friend list is full, I will be clearing room for Bravely Default soon though. Colors! 3D Gallery, My Blog

It would definitely be Colors! 3D. Ever since I started doing fan art inspired from Metroid Prime Hunters, my playtime has exploded to nearly 200 hours. As for an actual game, the best download I have is easily Mutant Mudds. In my opinion, it's the most charming experience the 3DS has had so far and one of the most re-playable.

Yeah, I have 172 hours on Colours 3D then stopped playing it when Art Academy came out for the Wii U.
