well as second sega classic i got streets of rage 3d. Now i got shinobi III and streets of rage. Although the soundtrack of streets of rage is nice i was kinda dissapointed. The game is so quickly over. Only 8 rounds and very short levels, and not such complex controls you would think of ... Really a A button smasher :D

So im not too sure even though the controls in shinobi III were terrible ( yes doublejump still sucks), i finished both games and have to say i enjoyed shinobi III more, because way better stereoscopic 3d usage and gorgeous soundtrack. Especially the surf board level was epic. Epic sound , epic hard boss battle, no possibility for broken double jump. Surf level is definitelly my favourite.

Im thinking of maybe getting a third sega classic, but not too sure. Only interesting games left would been super hang on or that galaxy shoot em up. Since space harrier seems to be a terrible arcade game and if you got no nostalgic feeling towards arcade games it will be a very archaic and terrible experience. Same goes to altered beast , i even read somewhere altered beast was vote for worst game in game history. I dont get why companies always have to choose bad games to remaster. Urban champion and altered beast are totally wasted time for M2 or any developer , since the source material is just crap ...

So how much fun are super hang on and galaxy force ? I heared the 3ds is used very well. But is the gameplay spot on or archaic as well ? So is it rather gimmicky for deep 3d but the gameplay is mediocre or is the package good ? So far the experienced were mixed. Shinobi got gorgeous sprite art and 3d but awful control. Streets of rage got near not noticable 3d reworkand boss balance problems, but nice soundtrack. So im abit puzzled ....

cheers

ps: the boss battle vs shadow master in shinobi III was epic , that background jeeez its like they designed that game in 1993 with stereoscopic 3d in mind

ps2: @MAB why should i be forced to buy rubbish like altered beast only to make sega releasing more 3d classics ? why not remaster the good games in the first place ?

People seem to buy the same old rubbish Nintendo games that were on Wii... Now they buy the same games drip fed on Wii U and 3DS at inflated prices ;)

If you like racing games at all, I recommend super hang on it's just simple, polished, retro fun and looks good in 3d. It stands out for me among the 3D classics and if I got just a few moments to play 3DS it's good for that

My other console is a next gen

"Space Harrier" isn't a terrible arcade game. The gameplay is basic but still really good. It just gets repetative after a while.

You didn't mention "Sonic the Hedgehog." Is there any reason you don't want that one?

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Space Harrier's great stuff. Dunno what you're talking about. And for the record, you don't need nostalgia to enjoy an old game, you just have to stop expecteing modern conveniences in them.

Ecco the Dolphin is another possible. (It is a love it or hate it game. A really good version but the reviewer happened to be one that didn't like it).
