It's actually just the stage edit mode that was found in M Vs. DK 2 on the DS, I believe.

Well, from the what was mentioned in the press conference it's a bit more than that. It'll come with a number of different stages, and supposedly will give the player bigger freedom in creating their own. Either way, this does look like a pretty good fit for DSiWare.

I'm not interested in it unless its really cheap.

I love Mario vs Donkey Kong 2, so a small expansion pack is very welcome (from the screenshots it appears to be 16 levels? and the first one or two may be training levels…)

I bought a DSi when they came out -- before this, I haven't really been a 'gamer' of any kind for years, but had dabbled with new super mairo bros on a friends' console in the years prior. And as a DS owner, it is hard to not feel slightly underwhelmed by the E3 announcements, right?

I mean, I just jumped on this DSi train, and thought for sure that there'd be some lovin' come E3 time. Instead, we have two completely kick-ass looking mario titles... both for Wii.

Or is that just me being greedy and unreasonable?

@BOONELSON I kinda feel the same way too. Though I am glad the Wii is finally getting some love. I really wish we would get the FF4 The Final Chapters on DSi

Given the fact that I'm a huge fan of the original, you can imagine how excited I am. Not THAT excited but still stoked no less.

No :)
However, if I'm not mistaken Wario Ware DYI will be a DSi enhanced game so probably DSi users can create minigames by using the camera. But the game will be both for DS and DSi.

Well it seems that my original assertions about this being a minor expansion in terms of size were completely off the mark.

The screenshots (namely http://e3.nintendo.com/ds/d12/index.html) certainly do make this look interesting — a nice variation on the existing game we already have, and no real indication at all of how many levels. For all we know it could be another 70 odd… I hope this comes to Australia soon enough!

(The boss battles that they show appear to be verbatim to the ones we already have unfortunately, but perhaps there will be the odd surprise).
