If there ever would be a VC for the DSi; without a doubt in my mind... if Nintendo ever FREAKING CONSIDERS IT:
The Zelda Oracle of Ages & Seasons, & even Link's Awakening without a doubt!
& I don't want all of the Pokemon's but only the GBC games Red, Blue, Yellow... & possibly Gold, Silver, & maybe Crystal
Because even if I got all of those in physical GBC format & can play them on my GameCube GameBoy Player... I just think it would be nice to play them on the DSi & maybe then Nintendo could consider the POSSIBLE IDEA of having the POKEMON STADIUM games on the VIRTUAL CONSOLE in the FAR DISTANT FUTURE!!!
Also NO GBA GAMES FOR THE DSi WHATSOEVER; WE SERIOUSLY DON'T NEED THEM WHEN YOU CAN SERIOULY PLAY THEM ON THE DS LITE IN PHYSICAL GBA FORMAT!!!

No, what makes you think that?

Uh... the Nokia N-Gage is still being made. As for GB games:

Donkey Kong
Mario Land series
Pokèmon series
Zelda series
Mole Mania

And for GBA:
Mario & Luigi

Sega Gamegear titles are already being released on VC under the SMS section. They are essentially the same hardware.

Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic Chaos are already out...

That leads me to believe Triple Trouble, Labryinth, and Drift 1/2 we'll be on the way shortly. Maybe even get Tails games too under the SMS section...

I think if anything, you may see GBA remakes and such on DSiWare... But as for a full-blown handheld VC, that's yet to be seen... If Ninty announces something like that though, I only expect to see GB-stuff and nothing else.

Haha, no, it was a boy floating down from the skies using his blob as a parachute. It was, of course, from A Boy and His Blob.

Mole Mania for the original Game Boy would be nice for a varied range of reasons:

1. It was created by Shigeru Miyamoto, and as any Nintendo enthusiast will tell you, any game that comes into contact with Miyamoto-sama is of the highest quality (see Example 1: Super Mario Galaxy)

2. I feel it's one of those really great titles that slips under the radar from the gaming public; ask any Gen Z if they've ever heard of 'Mole Mania' and the answer's likely to be 'no' or 'huh?'

3. Once again, the nostalgia factor kicks in for me. I played this years ago; I still remember my first battle against Kangaroon! (BTW, Sundes gets my vote as one of the most annoying Nintendo bosses of all time!)

...well, that's one of my top picks...

I would just be happy with original Gameboy games. I hope thats the focus when they do add it.

Unless you can play straight from SD, is there even room for a GBA game (or more importantly, multiple GBAs?) on the DSi? It would be a great solution to the lack of GBA slot if they were available as hinted, but it seems unlikely. As much as I hope to see Mother 3 out in the US some way some how, this doesn't look to be the way. I expect only GB / GBC titles, too, with maybe Game Gear, etc. also available.

I don't know that a Virtual Handheld would be as popular as a VC though. Hard to guess.

I just hope all Gameboy pokemons

I think that with the hardware spec upgrade from the ds lite to the dsi, that Nintendo "should" have enough juice under the hood to make gba games a possibility. On that note I want to see all of the portable zeldas and all of the super mario advance games. Please Nintendo :}

I'm with NintendoPurist, Mole Mania is my all time GB favorite.
The VC handheld certainly will only contain GB, GBC, and maybe GG and NG Pocket, but, who knows, if it works they may add new systems, still, whatever they include, a launch game from SD update, is a must.

Just as The wii's virtual console has a variety of non-nintendo systems I would also like the DSi virtual console to follow likewise with such systems as the Atari Lynx, the Sega Gamegear, the Wonderswan and Neo Geo pocket. Along side Nintendo's classic handheld series including Game and Watch. I wouldnt be too concerned about GBA games at the moment until they are able to run games from the SD card although it may be nice to have some GBA games remade specifically for DSiware rather than have the original.

I have been mulling over what would seem fair prices for the systems and considering 500 points on the wii VC would get you NES games and Mastersytem games, I would say that is a fair point to start from.

so -
The Wonderswan / Wonderswan Colour would be 300 / 500 points
Nintendo Gameboy / GBC also 300 / 500 points
Sega Gamegear and Atari Lynx 500 points
The NeoGeo Pocket / NeoGeo Pocket Colour 300 / 600 points

and I have been toying with the idea of Game and Watch games being 100 points or being updated and sold for 200 points with Paper Planes and Birds and Beans being 200 points each this seemed reasonable.

What does everyone else think?

I want to get Shauntae (sp?) from GBA and also Mario and Luigi GBA..... If Drilldozer is rereleased on VC it would be awesome so people can get there hands on it. It is one of the best games ive ever played and Ive been gaming since back in the days of the Atari 1 and 2.
