Topic: Virtual Console on DSiWare

Posts 1 to 20 of 48

Well, I think the DSi could use some Virtual Console games.

I'll prefer a Vc on DSiWare for Game boy games.

wont be on here anymore

That would be nice. Maybe Game Boy Advance and Game Gear too.

Well, I just don't understand why they ould put itty-bitty games on a home console. I just think its much better suited on a portable system.

Most SNES games are not "itty" and "bitty", an example is SMB3, its not something you will finish in 5 minutes like Donkey Kong.

Well, yeah obviously, but I think a game like that, that doesn't have up-to-date graphics would much better suit the DS

Oh look it's this whole business again.

Give the people what they want. All of the games on both of the systems (and if you have both Wii and DS, you only have to buy them once).

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

It will be on ds2 and all us dsi owners just got the shaft with hopes of portable vc.

Dsi taught me a hard lesson with nintendo consoles. Don't buy it until what u want already exist.

Well I think if a DSi Virtual Console comes around its going to be a Virtual Handheld. Complete With Game Boy, Game Gear, Atari Lynx, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance games, (Maybe TurboExpress).

Belive it or not. NES, SNES, VCA, Neo Geo, Sega Genesis, Turbografx-16, Commodore 64 are too big to fit the size limit for the DSi.

Are you sure about that? I mean, games like Rayman and Dark Void Zero looks like it would have the same graphic quality and the same length of gameplay.

Yes, I'm sure. Rayman and Dark Void Zero have had there graphic quality taken down a notch. Just compare Rayman DSi to Rayman Jaguar.

Yeah, are you sure about that wiiplayer? I mean, if they could fit Rayman, Earthworm Jim, Dragon's Lair, and the two Real Footballs, I'm sure they could fit at least NES, some SNES, some Genesis, Turbografx, and Commodore.

I said this once and i will repeat it again: Yes, I'm sure. Rayman and Dark Void Zero have had there graphic quality taken down a notch. Just compare Rayman DSi to Rayman Jaguar.

Turbografx-16 games may be possible because NEC released the TurboExpress handheld system.

It's worth noting that any VC game would require an emulator which would be many times larger than the game ROM - that's why it wouldn't fit, not the ROM size itself.
