Topic: Transfering DSi Ware games help.

I own a DSi and am thinking of upgrading to a DSi XL however i do know i can transfer my internet settings to a new system but what about the games I have brought from the DSi Ware shop? if i transfer my settings to a new system will i still be able to download all the things i brought from the DSi Ware shop without having to buy them again or keep them on an SD Card and copy them to the DSi XL's memory?

Sorry, can't transfer DSiWare purchases between DSi's. You'll be able to bring all of your DSiWare purchases to a 3DS though.

Nope. Can't transfer the games out of the DSi in which you downloaded it from.

DSiWare games are not transferrable as of yet. There is no solution, moving it to a SD card doesn't help, nothing helps.

Once the 3DS comes out you'll be able to transfer DSiWare from DSi to 3DS, but right now you're stuck with it on whatever system it was downloaded on.

that sucks as after seeing games run on the XL's screen i wanted to get one, but nowi dont think i'll bother as i dont feel like buying games again and losing my save data on them. Thanks anyway guys.

Just wait for the 3DS. Not only will you be able to transfer your DSiWare games to it, but it'll be a much better investment than getting a DSi XL at this stage. You'll be able to play DS and the new 3DS games on it.

yeah, same here. looks like we're all waiting for the 3DS then :3
