Yeah, regardless how some people may love Sudoku, 4 games is a bit much, especially when we don't have other like games such as Crosswords or word search.

Tell Nintendo that, I agree!

They're probably just running out of ideas, so they deceided to release the same game four times and expected to get money.

They couldn't have run out of ideas. They probably all though Sudoku would be a good idea, they made the games, and realized a bunch of other groups had the same idea. lol Cause there's a ton more games they could've made. Crossword, wordsearch, "where's Waldo"-like games, brain teasers similar to the Layton games... I could go on. lol

But yeah, I haven't seen another Sudoku on the list so hopefully it will be the last.

Exactly. There are four Sudoku's; but only two are made by the same company but were intended to please beginners or experts so as to not overwhelm or underwhelm someone...
I mean. Do you really think that these game makers sit down and collude so as to not overlap each other? Sudoku is popular. They all wanted to put something out for it.

I don't often pay attention to which company makes which games, but I should have thought of that earlier.

Hm... With all these Sudoku games, I guess Nintendo should break the mold with... uh... I dunno: Professor Layton Express in the DSi Shop?!

Personally, I would much rather see a nice huge crossword game or word search game... this is just overkill. Don't get me wrong, this seems like a very well made Sudoku game, but we've had enough!

Well remember, Word Searcher from Digital Leisure is coming. And if we get Crosswords DS Express, I'll be really happy.

Crosswords DS wasn't very good; I would much rather see a new "New York Times Crosswords" game.

I didn't like the Crosswords DS demo on the Nintendo Channel because there was no lefty flip....... :(

Anyway, since I have only 300 points and this week there still was no MyNotebook, I'll just download this and hope I have time to buy a points card this week........ cause that viking game looks intresting.

I tried out a puzzle to see how it worked, but quit halfway through cause I felt like getting into it after school when I have more time, cuz I'm weird like that. ;)
Anyway, the presentation is nice, a lot of options, visually pleasing, I like the imput, newspaper mode seems like it will be usefull, good amout of content for $2, and I might be the only one who likes the music since it matches with the theme. My first impressions are really good, today I'll play it alot more and post my final score and how I compare it to the other 3 suduko games (yes, I have all 4).

I wish they could merge the game mechanics seen in Sudoku Master/Student (ie. minus the pink afroed guy) and merge it with the graphics from this game... won't happen though. You'd have a strong game there, but as it is, this seems lost on me just a little and a little overkill, too, if you don't mind my saying... It's an okay title, just not that different from anything else out there.

Awful music. Not the best version of Sudoku, but I guess it is only $2.

I think this is the best of the lot - near unlimited replayability with the newspaper mode, a nice, classy presentation, decent music (I enjoyed it), and the game saves plenty of stats tracking your performance (I'm a stats fiend).

For 200 points? It's a great investment and suppasses the Suduko 150! game from Hudson for 500 points. I still personally think My Sims Camera is the bests of the 200 point toys, but this one does sit ahead of 2-in-1 Solitare.
